My car got hit, passenger side mirror, the mirror was dangling but still attached and the hub cap was completely taken offI went straight Atlantic Honda for helpThey looked at the exterior, did not bother to go in and check the camera attached, and told me right away I needed to buy two parts, a hub cap and a mirrorThe parts manager I spoke with told me I have to buy the parts because otherwise, it would have been "half ***"workHe tried to help me out with the price of the parts as they were expensiveI told him I would buy them just in case but will be consulting with my mechanic about the parts I was told to buy, to see if I actually needed themAside from the fact that another gentleman stepped in to finish my transaction, I was never told I could not return these partsI did not recieve the mirror that same day, I was told to pick up the following dayMy mechanic came by and repaired my side view mirror, all without needing to replace the mirror I was charged forI i

After reviewing the Customer’s Complaint and file, we have concluded that the Dealership has not done anything wrongBy the Customer’s own admission, (1) the dealership had the good faith to changed his original contract from a lease to a financing two days after he completed his original contract;
(2) he was well aware of the difference of payment between a leasing the vehicle and financing itThe Dealership has been corresponding with the customer since his purchase of the vehicle to try to satisfy his needsThe Customer is not complaining about the Vehicle Price but is complaining about the Financing Arrangements which he approved and agreed toThe Dealership had tried various ways to obtain a better financing arrangement for the customer but could notIn regards to the Road Vantage products, the Customer was made well aware that the cancellation of Road Vantage products would not change his monthly payment amountThe Dealership is required to apply the amounts received from those refunds the customer’s loansBy virtue of the foregoing, it is plainly clear to see that the dealership had fulfilled its obligation to the customer and has been acting in good faith with the customerAt this time, the dealership does not feel that they have done anything wrong and is not in the position to offer the customer any type of settlement. I was going to buy a car from Atlantic Honda, I was asked to leave a deposit, if not the title for a car that I was going to trade, I bought this car from a stranger in New York, it needed work so,I didnt register it meaning the title is not yet in my name, I left the title and now they cant find it, I cant get in contact with person that i,bought it from, ihave a 1,dollars investment sitting on my driveway and I really need the money or the car as you could understand

Last year I when in for an oil change with my honda & while my car was getting worked on this women told me my brakes were on 2% & it would cost $to change, I was confused because my break light wasn’t on & my breaks felt fineI went out to buy breaks & took my car to another local mechanic to get changed & since my mechanic was a family friend he told me my breaks were fine & that they were no where near 2%I returned the new breaks I bought & I rode on my same breaks until I got a new carI never went back because I felt like I could not trust alantic honda

I recently purchased a car from Atlantic Honda located at *** *** *** *** ** *** I am extremely disappointed in how the transaction was handledI feel that I was taken advantage of due to their aggressive sales tactics and they are unwilling to work with me in getting the monthly payments down to an affordable price
On December **, I went into Atlantic to purchase a vehicleI chose a Honda Fit, the sticker price on it was $18,and was able to get it down to $18,Before I walked in there I felt like I knew what I wanted, however the hostile tactics used by the Atlantic Honda staff left me exhausted and weary and I feel that was used against me so that I would do things on their termsThe first event that bothered me about this transaction was that before any paperwork was done or signed they took my credit card and took the down paymentAfter signing the paperwork I was passed off to a financial advisor who proceeded to perform at least diff

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

 Despite what was in writing they made a verbal agreement with us and with honda financial on November ** that they were taking care of the over mileage. When we leased our 3rd car from them on June ** we were concerned about overmileage and said I would keep the 2012 car till lease up since I work close to home and could have evened it out in that additional 6 months , my husband would have driven the vehicle we own but again not too worry they said. They called us 5 xs a day till we came in and still calling and emailing to trade car in. They are unorganized and did whatever necessary to get a car of lot. I can't understand how they literally lied and left us to have credit and finances effected. We were loyal to them and would have remained loyal. Very upsetting that they lied because despite writing honda financial has them on recording saying they will pay it so now I will supernatural those records and take them to small claims court

to submit and try to get them approved with the bank. As for the $60.00 they are saying we charged without authorization, I don't see that and if they can show us proof of that we will be happy to make it right. We tried to identify the issue you with the car and were unable to duplicate any issue. As soon as we can we will be happy to fix it but we can't fix something that is not broken. They have a warranty with the car so there is no reason for us not to fix it. We have explained this many times. Please let us know if anything further is needed.

Review: My husband recently passed away and had a leased 2011 Mazda 3 with 13 months of payments remaining. I live with my daughter and her two young children and I myself cannot drive due to optical damage from a [redacted]. It was my desire to trade in the Mazda in order to get a new lease with a bigger car that my daughter could use to drive myself and her two children comfortably and safely. We originally went to a Mazda dealer to discuss our options and were disappointed by the car selection and the service provided. We went to Atlantic Honda due to a positive relationship my husband had with Honda and our satisfaction with Honda cars throughout the years. We explained our intentions perfectly: we wanted to sell my daughter's 2003 Honda Civic for use of a down payment on a new lease, we wanted Honda to take over the lease of the Mazda 3, and we wanted to then lease a new Honda CRV. We were told by the sales representative, [redacted], and the manager, [redacted], that the remaining 13 payments for the Mazda 3 would be incorporated into our new lease payments over the next 3 years. [redacted] contacted Mazda to determine the Mazda 3's current value, which from my understanding was because they would now have this car in their possession and needed to know how valuable it was. [redacted] told us Honda would pay the remaining payments to Mazda, and I signed the paperwork to transfer the Mazda lease over. [redacted] gave us the license plates to the Mazda 3 and told us to return them to DMV and cancel our auto insurance. We sold the Honda Civic and walked away with a 39-month lease on a Honda CRV.

I received a call from Mazda several days later saying that they were informed that I am trading in the car early and will be hit with an early termination. Honda was to drop the car off at Mazda, and the car was going to be auctioned. I was told by Mazda that the difference between the auction price and the current value of the car will be my financial responsibility. I immediately called [redacted] and [redacted] at Atlantic Honda and was told that they would not have any role in any early termination fees or responsibilities that may occur due to the transaction, and that it is my responsibility. This is not what was explained to me during the sale and I am appalled by this situation. I feel I was taken advantage of by Atlantic Honda by my inexperience and that I was extremely misled. I now essentially have the responsibility of 2 leases, which I cannot afford, and all that Honda did for me is basically lend me the 13-months' payments I needed to make on the Mazda 3 from now until the end of the lease, and incorporate that into a 39-month payback (the Honda CRV lease). This transaction could end up costing me thousands of dollars due to the auction process.Desired Settlement: I want Honda to properly take over the Mazda lease, as was clearly intended at the beginning of this transaction because this current situation is extremely one sided and I was taken advantage of. I do not and cannot afford to be responsible for the termination fees on the Mazda 3 and would not have agreed to the Honda CRV lease at all if this was made clear to me. I was misled and this is an extremely egregious situation.
