Review: The dispute is part of contract for replacement of heating system. Below are events in chronological order. 1)Original contact signed to remove existing oil tank, oil furnace and installation of new gas furnace with amount $7600.00 on April 18th. 60% advance amount $4560.00 paid using American express card ending [redacted] 2)During first week of May there were several phone conversation with [redacted] (I think that is the name or nick name of owner) who negotiated that he would give $1000.00 credit if tank is removed by someone else. 3)Hired [redacted] from Environmental Maintenance Co., Inc to remove oil tank. I’ll provide details if required. 4)On May 14th [redacted] along with his employee [redacted] (The guy who signed original contract) started work. 5)On May 14th they suggested to search and view videos on youtube.com the best way to install Weil McLain Ultra Boiler. Which I confirmed to him via text message to his cell phone ###-###-#### on May 15th with following links.[redacted]The work was put on hold because he failed to collect permit from town till 18th. 7)On May 18th [redacted] (Owner) suggested that in order to do the way it is in the above link it would cost me total $9000.00 and also take some time to order circulator pumps for controlling heat to each zone. Meantime he can temporary start the boiler to verify that it is working fine as well as we’ve hot water. He informed that he would come back in couple of weeks with necessary parts for controlling zones and another contract on May 18th signed. 8)Meantime the inspection was requested to be done and since boiler was working it passed as inspection was for boiler and not for heating zones. 9)On May 23th paid $1440.00 per request to pick up parts by [redacted] to finish pending zones by removing my existing zone valves with circulator pumps. 10)Estimate from another company that it would cost me approximately $2500.00Desired Settlement: Refund money.
