Dear Revdex.com We have spoken to Mr *** and told him that the warranty does not cover mold We install over plus showers a year and may get one or two calls a year for mold on the silicone Typically mold is formed through heavy moisture which builds up in a
bathroom that does not have proper ventilation The shower remains wet inside as the customer may not be following the instructions as far as keeping the door open after showering to let the tile dry out Also, if there is no window in the bathroom and or the bathroom is very small the moisture from a long shower can build up and if it does not dry out in time it will create black spots that adhere to the silicone We have been in this industry for over years so we have seen everything and if we had this problem over and over again well then we would have addressed it already We told the customer we would come out and take care of the problem for a service call fee, however if there is a moisture problem in his bathroom he will have the same issue down the road Again we cannot warranty mold due to high moisture in a bathroom I will have my office contact Mr *** and schedule a visit to the house to diagnose the problem at no charge. Dear Revdex.comAs I stated in my original response we do not cover mold under our warranty and we have not changed any written warranties on our website We do have a one year warranty on materials, however mold is caused by moisture and beyond our control We stated in the previous response that we would call the customer and come out to diagnose the situation but at this point we feel the customer is being unreasonable and making statements about our company that are just not true regarding the website changes Again as I said before we have been in business for over years with an A rating on the Revdex.com If you have any further questions for me don't hesitate to call at ***Thank you

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
This is shocking the lack of customer service in this organization and the deceptive and unfairbusiness practice! This organization has now changed their website guarantee after I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.  I emailed spoke with two managers of the company who promised the third manager would call me which never happened he only responded after I filed a Revdex.com claim and changed his guarantee on the website! at I have attached a PDF with the chain of emails and the original guarantee that was in effect when I purchased the door as you can see my the email dates.  They are suddenly changing their policy!  They had "100% water high seal" clearly  it was not! or there would not be mold! The mold is under the silicone they applied and guaranteed for one year to be 100 % water tight.  They have offered nothing accept to look at the door but spent a week redoing their website and then try to blame the customer.  The entire bathroom was each piece was brand new and designed in current MA codes which require the exhaust fan on with the light simultaneously so there is proper air flow and there is mold in not other location in the bathroom or shower.  The original tile and silicone form the plumber is still in intact and no mold anywhere else.  How can he claim excessive water in a shower?  A shower is designed to be water  tight and have water spraying.  I will be furthering my complaint to the MA attorney Generals office and They have now altered their guarantee and which is a clear violation of section chapter 93a as this is an unfair and deceptive business practice.  Please see attached document documenting emails and pictures and new website. Regards, [redacted]
