They had told me they would put a catheter in so they did not have to stick him several times, but then it was replaced several timesThey were going to charge me for an ultrasound that was not done, but I caught that when I was checking outThe office manager told me that I was charged incorrectly, but no one would give me an amended statement
I am rejecting this response because:I stated in my initial complaint that I caught the ultrasound charge when I was checking outI am contesting the multiple catheter chargesI was told they were putting in a special catheter so that they would not have to stick him several times, yet I was charged for several catheter replacements in less than hoursI also was contesting the level of care for what I was chargedThey admit in their response that *** was a very sick dog, yet the vet had not checked on him in over hoursTheir office manager admitted I was charged for items that were not done, but stated other things were done that were not on the invoiceI have never received a corrected invoice
I appreciate your efforts and understand the position of the Revdex.com and the need to protect consumers...Please review the Invoice provide by Ms *** and note that there are no charges related to an UltrasoundIn full disclosure, her initially had a charge for an Ultrasound which had been scheduled to be performed that day but was cancelled following ***'s death - we missed pulling the request (and thus removing from invoice). That said, the charges had been adjusted (the Ultrasound charges removed) upon discovery and the final bill accurately reflects the services performed.*** was a very sick dog and faced an insurmountable medical condition that rapidly progressed despite the best of Ms ***'s intentions and efforts of the doctors and staff at Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital.Regards,***Dr *** ** ***President - Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital Pet Emergency Center*** *** ***

Review: They admitted that I was charged for services that were not performed. When I requested a refund, I was told that actually they had done more, but they would not charge me. They have never told me what additional services were performed. My dog was there for 36 hours and I was charged over $3,000.00. My dog did not survive. My dog had taken a turn for the worse and I was never contacted.The vet admitted that, even though she knew he was not doing well, she had not checked on him in over 3 hours. I agreed to their fees as I thought my dog would be well take care of. They have admitted they did not provide the level of service promised.I would like to add that I filed a complaint with the Veterinary Board. They have refused to provide me with the report of that complaint.Desired Settlement: I think at $1000.00-$1500.00 should be refunded.
