Atlantic to Pacific Movers, LLC Reviews (7)

This company is not a moving company, but a moving brokerage They didn't explain this to me, took my $and practically didn't do anything else than putting me in contact with a moving company (American Moving System) that gave me the moving experience from hellThey crushed many of my boxes, lost items, damaged furniture, gave me no information about the delivery day until my stuff actually arrived at destination many days later than expected, had a phone customer service practically non-existent, had a very unfriendly driver, that took hours to unload my stuff and finally hired some boys from the neighborhood and had me pay for them The people at Atlantic to Pacific Movers assured me that they would support me in my claim for damages, but didn't do anything other than tell me that I should file a claim that didn't do any good, since the proposed settlement was a great $for damages of more than $1,

I booked with this company for a military move and my dates changedThey told me several times that my deposit was refundable as long as I called days before my move and I could change my dates no problem Military orders have a habit of being unpredictable and instead of May we needed to move in JuneThe company could not give me an exact date of pick up and delivery which was frustratingWe finally decided to go a different route with set dates and cancel with this companyThey refused to refund our $deposit because it was past our ORIGINAL move date of MayI spoke with "***" who was very unprofessional and mocked me laughing that I was making this decision and laughing that I needed to confer with my husband on this decisionI hope no one else is fooled by this company

Excellent staff and infogood products that work

Horrible experience. We ordered two trucks, and A to P hired Interstate Express Movers who only brought one truck . We received our belongings 3-days apart. Two trips. Our realtor sent photos of what the movers left behind. We now have to contact family to rent u haul to load remaining items and deliver them. The fee was double the quote! They couldn't take credit card so we ran all over to obtain money orders. We will be reporting to Revdex.com.
Do not recommend this service to anyone!
We also have to file insurance claim for damaged goods.

This company is not a moving company, but a moving brokerage. They didn't explain this to me, took my $600 and practically didn't do anything else than putting me in contact with a moving company (American Moving System) that gave me the moving experience from hell. They crushed many of my boxes, lost items, damaged furniture, gave me no information about the delivery day until my stuff actually arrived at destination many days later than expected, had a phone customer service practically non-existent, had a very unfriendly driver, that took 10 hours to unload my stuff and finally hired some boys from the neighborhood and had me pay for them.
The people at Atlantic to Pacific Movers assured me that they would support me in my claim for damages, but didn't do anything other than tell me that I should file a claim that didn't do any good, since the proposed settlement was a great $64 for damages of more than $1,000.

This company is not actually a mover, but a brokerage. As such, they have no incentive to provide a good experience, as they receive the customer's deposit and are essentially done with their services. Here is my experience: Atlantic to Pacific provided me with an estimate of approximately $1600 for my move, with the understanding that based on weight the actual move could cost more. This was fine, but when the movers came, they wanted a price of MORE THAT THRE TIMES the estimate. Essentially, the broker at Atlantic to Pacific gave a low-ball estimate to get my business (and deposit) and then let the actual moving company deal with re fall out. As it stands, I did not have the company load the furniture (renting a truck and moving ourselves instead) and have filed a dispute claim with my credit card company over the deposit. The actual movers ar out a job and gas money, I am at least for now out a $500 deposit, and the broker at A to P makes money like a bandit. Don't use this company.

I booked with this company for a military move and my dates changed. They told me several times that my deposit was refundable as long as I called 7 days before my move and I could change my dates no problem. Military orders have a habit of being unpredictable and instead of May we needed to move in June. The company could not give me an exact date of pick up and delivery which was frustrating. We finally decided to go a different route with set dates and cancel with this company. They refused to refund our $600 deposit because it was past our ORIGINAL move date of May. I spoke with "[redacted]" who was very unprofessional and mocked me laughing that I was making this decision and laughing that I needed to confer with my husband on this decision. I hope no one else is fooled by this company
