At approx. 10:40am Sunday morning I noticed a van pulling up in my driveway with the name Atlantic Mobile Imaging.
I was still in my nightgown, but I stepped outside to see what was going on. A woman by the name of Tracy ( I learned after I later asked) stepped out and said they had my phone number wrong and wasn't able to call me. She had some extra time on her hands so she came by to see if she could take an x-ray of David's chest.
She immediately acted like she was doing me a favor, and at one point even said so, and I should be grateful for their service. She offered to come back another time, but suggested she didn't know when or if she even could, or if I wanted to just cancel the order myself, that's fine too, but if I wanted to help my husband, then I should let her come in.
At that point, I was very angry with her attitude and I told her so. You don't come to my home and suggest anything about my caring for my husband after I have been up all night for 4 nights checking every few hours to see if his oxygen is on his face. How rude. Reluctantly, I let her in.
When she was finished, I asked her for her name and a business card. She told me her name and said she didn't have a card, but if I wanted to talk to her supervisor, tried to hand me her phone, I am welcome to speak to that person. I said no, I will call myself.
As she was leaving, I'm getting the lecture about how good she is at her job and I should be grateful and with the attitude again. At that point I told her how dare you come in to my home and cop an attitude with me. I told her to get out of my home. She said again, I was welcome to call her supervisor and I told her no need because she would never be coming back here anymore. She said she would have him call me. I said I thought you didn't have my phone number.
I followed her out to the drive way and told her again to get off my property. As I turned around to come back inside she rolled her window down and yelled "You're welcome". I yelled back ***.
I called the number on the van and got the answering service, who then called the owner Boone. Boone called me and started to tell me he heard the whole thing because Tracy had recorded it, and I said I doubt he did, and he started yelling at me. He said if I ever treat one of his employees like that again they would never come here anymore. I said that works for me, don't ever come here again and he yelled back at me that I could kiss his ***. At that point I hung up.
