Review: [redacted] from Atlas Appliance Service visited my home on March [redacted] 2014 to give an estimate on repairing my dryer. He didn't know how to open the machine itself to view the pump, so I opened it for him. He then said I needed a new pump and called his office to see if he had any in stock. He said he did have the part in stock and could come back in two days to install it. I gave him a $65 cash deposit for the job, which would be $310 total after completed. [redacted] did not even have the courtesy to cancel his appointments, but failed to show up on five separate occasions while I waited around all day. I then warned him that I would have to file a complaint with Revdex.com if he wasn't going to repair the machine or refund my deposit. He told me he would come return my deposit on March [redacted]. He never showed, but texted me he had car trouble and would come today March [redacted]. He did not respond to my text today asking what time he would be here. I called a different number to see if I could get his manager or boss and he answered and told me to go ahead and file this complaint. The deposit is only $65 which I would still like back, but the hours of time I've wasted are what have cost me the most as a small business owner myself. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.Desired Settlement: I'd like my $65 deposit back.
