Atlas Benefits takes customer service seriously whether
they are an existing customer, an interested prospect or even an unknown party
After thorough research into this complaint, we could not find any active account using the name, phone number, email or the physical address provided by Mr ***However we did find one (1) incoming call from the (XXX) XXX-XXXX numberWe have put both numbers provided by the complainant on our DNC list
We reached out to the marketing companies purchase leads from and they found one (1) outbound callThis call originated from the marketers office because the complainant entered their contact information online and had requested a health insurance quoteThe numbers provided by Mr*** were already on the company DNC list at the time of our inquiry
If the complainant continues to receive calls, it is not from our company or any of the marketing companies we use

This customer bought two products from our companyOne product was a short term insurance productThe second product was a discount health productIt is very clear at the time of purchase that two (2) products are going to be billed separatelyThe customer MUST, on a recorded line , agree to two
(2) separate purchases each being charged separatelyIn addition, each customer must also verbally agree that the products must be canceled separatelyThis is because the two products are controlled by different companies and there is no way to cancel them both except by canceling them individually.If our company was to refund every person that didn't write down the conditions of the sale, or forgot that they must be canceled separately, we would not be able to conduct business in a profitable mannerIt is not our responsibility to continuously monitor each record to ensure that every customer is canceling both products at the same timeIn addition, many customers cancel the short term medical product and keep the discount product as the discount product can be used in conjunction with any health insurance plan.We feel it is unreasonable to refund money to a customer that did not follow the agreed upon conditions.All products for this customer have been canceled and no recurring charges will be made on his account.

The customer called to request a cancel form on 8-11-2015, however we don't have record that it was returned
When the
customer called back on 9-14-our CSR canceled the product and gave him a credit for the September charge
After looking into this case I further credited the customer back the August charge as the customer clearly stated he had acquired insurance through his employer on 8-11-
In addition, the customer receives a pro-rated credit for canceling with in the first days
