purchased ozone generator in October 2015; within days it failed to work; returned machine to Atlas at my expense;company repaired it and returned it me.However it has failed once again in late May 2016; Atlas has refused to replace the ozone generator as it is obviously a poorly constructed machine; Atlas has failed to honor the warranty associated with this product
They seem to be engaging in unfair trade practices

I purchased what I thought was a NEW Air Purifier from the Atlas Air Purifier company and instead they sent me a used piece of equipment I tried calling twice to explain the problem and get a new machine sent to meThe first person I called sounded like a child and said he would need to speak with his supervisor first and he would get back with me, he never called me back
I called again a week later and spoke with an other guy and he insisted they would not sell me a used piece of equipment I explained to him that the machine was supposed to ionize at least sq ft of space and it is barely handling sq ft I asked him why the (3) plates inside the machine were all yellow, I owned one of these machines years ago from this same company and it cleaned the air so well you could not be in the same room when it was on and the plates were pure white when I received the new machine the first time I purchased oneHe could not explain anything, he suggested I pay to return the ma

Our company website clearly states that we have a day money back guaranteeIf a product is damaged or not working or just not to their liking, a customer can return it and we will offer a full refund to the customerThe customer called after the day period to inform us that her air purifier
was not working as it should and that she was not satisfiedThis falls outside our day return policy so we would normally not offer a full returnHowever, we made an exception to allow her to return her unitHer order was placed February 1st and she received it on the 6thShe called March 6th to request a return which falls outside the day return guarantee periodWe sent her an email telling her where to return the unit as an exception to our ruleThere is no further correspondence with the customer and we do not receive her unitOn April the 23rd, we receive an email from the customer asking for a replacement instead of a refundAgain, we normally don't do replacements outside the day period but we were willing to make an exception to please the customerHowever, the customer refuses to ship the old unit back to us so we can ship her a replacement unitIt is company policy to receive the damaged unit from the customer before shipping out a replacementWe have gone outside our usual policy to ensure the customer is satisfied with her experience with Alpine by allowing her a full refund outside the alloted time periodWe have even offered to give her a replacement outside the day period after she decides not to go forward with a full refund
