Avoid this company at all costsI booked my rental car months in advance and paid in full the asking priceWhen I got to the airport rental location of their so called partner, I was told that while my reservation was there, I owed a full balanceWhat's even more, the balance was more than what was quoted and more than other rental companies in the same locationThe partner would not honor the quoted price nor would they take it upon themselves to contact themI had to deal with itThe solution offered was to book at the new price and they'll refund me what I paidHere's the catch: They will refund me what I paid them, which was the lower priceI simply asked to be refunded my money and that I will book with another company of my choosing for cheaperAfter an internal investigation, they approved my request and instead of simply refunding me the money, they asked me to contact my credit card company and dispute the charges which is ridiculousThank god I have a good credit card company and the process was easy with themThe same exact thing happened to a friend of mine after I recommended them before this happenedI suspect it happens a lot with themSave yourself the money and the headache and look elsewhere

The invoice total of $66.86 was due to taxes which were not covered by the voucher. Avoid this company at all costs. I booked my rental car months in advance and paid in full the asking price. When I got to the airport rental location of their so called partner, I was told that while my reservation was there, I owed a full balance. What's even more, the balance was more than what was quoted and more than other rental companies in the same location. The partner would not honor the quoted price nor would they take it upon themselves to contact them. I had to deal with it. The solution offered was to book at the new price and they'll refund me what I paid. Here's the catch: They will refund me what I paid them, which was the lower price. I simply asked to be refunded my money and that I will book with another company of my choosing for cheaper. After an internal investigation, they approved my request and instead of simply refunding me the money, they asked me to contact my credit card company and dispute the charges which is ridiculous. Thank god I have a good credit card company and the process was easy with them. The same exact thing happened to a friend of mine after I recommended them before this happened. I suspect it happens a lot with them. Save yourself the money and the headache and look elsewhere.

Review: I rented a car online through Atlas Choice in September 2014, whom I found on Sky Scanner (http://www.skyscanner.ca/). The local rental company was Megadrive at Budapest International Airport in Hungary. I had no problems with the reservation, initial customer service or the car itself. Everything went fine until the last minute when I dropped off the car. They suddenly found damage under the front bumper that they deemed new even though it was already recorded in their own database as existing damage. However, it was not marked on the check-out report so they could claim it was new. They charged the entire deductible (excess) amount on my credit card because of this damage, which was 1,016 euros! After my trip, I complained in a email to the Austrian headquarters of Megadrive, and following one week's worth of email exchange, they agreed to refund the total amount. Their reason stated was that the local employee "made a mistake" (i.e. marking up the check-out report after the car has been checked out, which can be considered fraud).I have checked online complaints against Megadrive and confirmed that mine is not an isolated incident. Highly unprofessional to say the least. The ticket number is 5447407.Desired Settlement: Even though I received a refund from Megadrive (subcontractor to Atlas Choice), I am still out by $77.67 Canadian due to the buy and sell exchange rate difference for the euro vs. the Canadian dollar (paid $1,475.51 on Sep 19, received refund $1,397.84 on Oct 8). I want Atlas Choice to refund the difference of $77.67 to me in Canadian dollars. I also want Atlas Choice to acknowledge that Megadrive is not a reliable partner and I want them to stop doing business with this company.

Review: My booking reference is 79717288I had a truly terrible and disappointment experience AtlasChoice a third party car rental booked and charged $204.04 upon confirmation July 24, 2015, Upon arrival at LAX airport on Aug 24 not only that LAX airport information counter do not know such car rental company, and tried to call toll free number on Monday at 1:20pm PST no one was available or pick up the call it is closed. And we ended up stranded at the LAX airport for about 45 min trying to contact AtlasChoice, and then checked with car rental shuttle (car rental Avix and Herz) to find out that AtlasChoice was working with Dollars domestic car rental company, upon arrival at Dollars waiting in queue for almost 2 hours, I was told that my payment for insurance $26 initially paid during ordered was not included and must pay extra USD $263 for both insurance coverage, (some kind of hidden cost), ended purchase extra USD $96 ($144.20 in CAD$) plus tax for third party insurance. This is quite hilarious and they do not honor their business etiquette which has many hidden cost and were not told initially, which customer have to come up with extra cost.I hope this report will hinder customer from doing business with this company, which in my opinion is lack of honesty.Thank you.Desired Settlement: Refund for the car insurance charged $26 during booking or reservation -online internet ordering.

Review: Jan 29, 2015 paid in advance for a rental car with credit card. Rental was for 17-21 Feb 2015. Received confirmation same day via email. Days later amended rental period to 18 thru 21 Feb due to airline flight schedule change. Also confirmed! Arrived Orlando Int'l Airport evening Feb 18. Per rental instructions called the vehicle supplier, Green Motion (NA), for transport to garage to pickup reserved car. Company said they had no vehicles because they were sold out. I explained I had a confirmed reservation. Company said I should go and get a rental from another company and talk to Atlaschoice the next day for a refund. Rep also said I should show the other rental companies my voucher and try to get them to beat or match their price so I wouldn't be out of money. I asked him how they could treat a customer this way, leaving them stranded and asking them to go fend for themselves. Rep explained more cars were to have been delivered to them but they never arrived. I checked with other rental companies at the airport, they either didn't have cars available or were only servicing those who had reservations. I called back Green Motion with this info and requested a supervisor who could remedy the emergency they created. The rep gave me a number he said was to their corporate office in Miami. Number went to some other Green Motion car garage in Miami. The rep in Miami wasn't helpful and hung up on me after we talked the second time. I called an 800 number I found on the web and left a long message. I tried using the Atlaschoice on-line query system and called their European number but neither worked on my mobile. Hours later I secured a reservation with Avis, but at a much higher price. The next afternoon after not hearing from the company I tried the 800 number again. Got a rep who said file a complaint and it will be investigated; she would tell me nothing more. I did so but the company has been silent on my complaint which seems simple enough to resolve quickly. The company does not respond.Desired Settlement: Refund my money and cover the costs associated with their breech of the contract.

Review: I made a reservation on line and, and paid for it by credit card. They did not say to check terms and conditions before making reservations. When I looked at terms and condition, it said that the maximum age for a driver is 75 years of age. If I had flown to New york, and went to pick up the car, I would have not be able to get the car, and forfeit my complete payment. I am 77 years of age, and so I immediately went to cancel the reservation, I then was told that there was a cancellation charge in the terms and conditions, it never said what the dollar amount of the charge would be. I was told that the cancellation charge would be $ 40.00. I feel that this is a complete fraud, especially taking advantage of older people.Desired Settlement: I feel that there should not be a cancellation charge and that fee should be credited to my credit card

Review: I made a rental car reservation with Atlas Choice back in Nov 17,2013. The rental car was reserved for Dec 30 through Jan 8. The reference number is 35[redacted]53. I arrived in San Diego on Dec 30 at 8pm and I waited until 9 pm to be picked up by the shuttle to be taken to the Atlas Choice. No one came for 1 hour so immediately emailed Atlas Choice to cancel my reservation because there is no telephone to call at all. It has been more than 3 weeks and I still dont have my refund. Atlas Company should never be allowed to operate because of very poor service causing inconvenience and there is no one to talk to to get a real status of any complaint. The company needs to be investigated for wrong practices. I hope this help resolve my complaint. Thank you in advance.Desired Settlement: I simply want a refund in the amount of 160.81.

Review: I rented a car from Atlas Choice approximately a month in advance. At that time I paid in full. When arriving at my destination (on time) I called Atlas Choice for my vehicle. After 2 unanswered calls, I received a call back telling me that they did not have a car for me as they did not have as many cars as expected. I was left to pay for a last minute rental at the airport. When I called the company the next morning I was assured I would be reimbursed the money I Paid Atlas Choice as well as the extra I paid the other rental company. I then followed through by submitting required documents. Several weeks later I received correspondence stating that I would not be getting a refund as I was 4 hrs late for my vehicle.I responded with a call log from my cell phone provider showing that I called on time. They replied stating that they will refund the money I paid them (no mention of the overage paid to the other company) but to expect only 75 percent of the money back as I am to pay an administrative fee. As of yet I have not received any monies.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the money I paid Atlas Choice ( which was $244.29 ) plus the overage I Paid to Fire Fly (which was $157.47) for a total of $401.76.

Review: I pre-paid for a rental car to be picked up from the Minneapolis Airport on 9/25/2014. I called Atlas Choice rental a head of time to make sure that there were not going to be any additional charges or holds to my credit card, due to my credit card limit. The Atlas Choice representative at that time stated that there would NOT be any additional holds or charges. When I arrived to the airport to pick up my vehicle (from Dollar Rental- 3rd party that provided the vehicle through Atlas Choice)stated that there would be an additional $250 hold, which I didn't have enough to place on my credit card. I explained that I pre-paid for my rental, and was told there wouldn't be any additional holds. Dollar rental states there was nothing they could do, and I would have to contact Atlas Choice. Long story short, I did not receive the rental car, nor could I rent a different car, because I pre-paid for the rental, and Atlas Choice was closed at the time of my rental pick-up, so I couldn't speak with a representative. I have contacted Atlas choice numerous times and complied with their instructions of emailing my complaint to [email protected]. The representative that instructed me to email customer care stated it would take up to 3 days for a response. It has now been almost a month, and we have not received a refund for the rental, nor any communication with Atlas Choice. I have called them several times, and they state that they are waiting for the supplier to confirm that we never picked up the rental. They refuse to let me speak with a supervisor or manager, but at the same time, they will not communicate with me, and keep blowing me off. To make things worse, Atlas choice has sent us an email stating - "I hope you enjoyed your rental from Atlas Choice..." That is a slap in the face, when we didn't even receive the rental!!Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of the rental, as I never received the rental car. I'm not asking for a lot. It shouldn't take one month to verify that I did not receive the rental car. I was mis-informed by an Atlas Choice representative regarding the additional hold/charges, and the customer service has been HORRIBLE! No one will talk to me, and all I want is my money back, for a service I never received. I have complied with all their requests, but I can't get the same respect from them.

IT'S NO WONDER THIS BUSINESS HAS AN 'F' RATING WITH THE Revdex.com. I rented a car online from this company and was sent an email (which I have) which stated that my credit card would not be billed until the order was fulfilled. My credit card was billed immediately! Upon further investigation I found that I would be charged a 'security fee' of $350.00 when I picked up the car. This was most unsatisfactory to me, as, having rented many cars in the past from different vendors, this was NEVER done. There was also no explanation as to when the security deposit would be returned to my account. I cancelled WELL within the time period stated in their literature. I WAS charged a cancellation fee, even though it was well before the 24 hours as stated in their literature. I actually cancelled 9 days before pick-up. I would NEVER do business with this company again, and would strongly urge others to avoid them, as well!

Review: I booked a rental car through Atlas Choice last month while I was on vacation in California and when I booked the car online I chose the drop off time as 7pm since my flight left at 10pm. When I printed out the confirmation of it the paper said the drop off time was 7 but didn't mark it as pm or am so I assumed it was pm since that is what I selected online. When I dropped off the car at Budget USA at 6:30pm I was told the drop off time was supposed to be 7am and was charged an extra day fee which was $45. They couldn't do anything about the fee since Atlas Choice booked it so I contacted them directly and they notified me the pick up and drop off times online use military time which I was unaware of and is not mentioned on the website so they wouldn't remove the fee either. I don't feel I should be responsible for the extra day fee that Budget charged me and I believe it is Atlas Choice who is responsible since their website doesn't mention am or pm anywhere or that they use military time. My voucher # is 27[redacted]4 which is also the booking #. The supplier reference # was 3[redacted]997US1Desired Settlement: I would like a credit for the $45 I was charged by Budget either to my card I used or a check sent by mail.
