Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The account is still on my credit report and no one made no effort to contact me personallyI had to call nack in to figure what was foing on, and MsM*** did not call Transunion to figure out how to remove the account from my credit report immediatelyOf course I would not give this unprofessional company permission to contact my loan providerI also never received the letter that Atlas sent out, and would request they send it out again via certified mail.
Regards,

We spoke to the billing company that handles [redacted] and this was their response:          Leslie from ORS stated that she contacted Pathologist  to verify [redacted] owes a...

bill and what she is being charged for.  [redacted] is being charged for the           interpretion of lab results.  The correct number Ms. [redacted] should be calling           is 800.433.1583.There are usually 2 separate bills with pathology laboratories,  1 for analyzing the specimen and 1 for interpreting (or reading) the results.  Please have Ms. [redacted] contact the correct 800# listed above and I believe this will resolve this matter.Thank you,Kelly [redacted]President / CEOAtlas Collections, Inc.

Some random woman, named Jill Martin, called me today, asking if X person was available. I said, "Sorry, he's not at this number." Ms. Martin asked, "Do you know X?" I said that I did. She asked if I could provide her with a way to reach X. I asked who she was and why she was calling and wanted to reach X. She would not say. Never once in the conversation did she say, that by law she cannot divulge that information. That was what I was waiting for her to say, and then I would have responded at that time with, "I will take your name and number and let X know that you called." But instead, she became rude. And asked again if I could provide contact information for X person. I said no, because I do not share other people's contact info with random strangers.

She then asked if I would take her contact info and pass it along, I said that I would, but that X would want to know why X should her. She became ruder. Demanding that I take her info. I responded that I would, but X would not call her without knowing the reason. She demanded, "Mama, how would you know X doesn't know the reason I'm calling?" My response, "because I know X, X's not going to calling you without more information. She got belligerent at that point, and stated (with a lot of snarkiness), "Fine, I will just find some other way to reach him." Yes, I admit, I got ruder myself with my sign-off of the conversation.

I had no idea who this woman was. Why she was calling my phone. If your company is that desperate to track down debtors that you randomly call people, and then are rude to and harassing them when you don't get the answers that they are seeking, I'm surprised that you haven't been sued for harassment. But let me be clear, call me again, and I will seek an attorney. At this point, I'm also contacting the State Attorney General's Office.

I spoke to Ms. [redacted] yesterday, 2/14 and assured her that her information had been removed from our system & I had a mailed a letter to her verifying this 2/13.  I asked if she was applying for a loan when this appeared on her credit report and she said, "yes".  I asked if I...

could contact the financial institution to explain the error and she said, "no".  After speaking with Ms. [redacted] I felt the matter was resolved. Kelly S. M[redacted]President / CEOAtlas Collections, Inc.

This agency called me about a debt I supposedly have. When the lady asked me if my birthday was [redacted] I stated no; she identified herself as Lee. My birthday is more than 30 years after that date. She stumbled around and then told me she needed to call me back. She then called back, never once verifying my true DOB, address, etc, and then proceeded to ask me if I was married. I would not answer her questions because she did not follow protocol of verification. She then told me fine, get ready for a garnishment and hung up on me. If she would have verified, because we all know identity theft is at a high, I would have obliged. This is horrible customer service and not the way collections should work. Verification is essential and that was not the case in this situation.

This place is very unorganized and the staff are rude. I had to deal with Atlas over hospital bills. I tried explaining to the staff these bills were from me being a minor. I was 15 year's old, the other bills should've been covered by my insurance. I explained this over and over and got nowhere with these people. I refuse to pay bills that should've never been turned into collection's in the first place.
