I am rejecting this response because: We were told it was $450.00 for two packages, now on yesterday 5/4/14.When we sent off one, again we were told $450.00 again. So we shipped it to Manilla at $350.00,because someone in their finance company wanted  and extra $150.00 in their pockets. And the family will have to pay more for it to be shipped to them from manilla, waste of time and money (both sides). It cost us $25.00 each time for gas home, and 2 hours minimum one way ($50.00).

I am rejecting this response because: I dont believe that my boxes was not tamper at the I received my boxes I call the right away to complain customers service told they call me within 24hrd no one call me back within 24 hrs I was already back in us still no one call for missing stuff

Review: My husband and I were scheduled to arrive in Manila Philippines on May 13, 2014 to commemorate the death anniversary on my deceased brother on May 31, 2014. I have filled 2 ([redacted]) and 1 ([redacted]) door-to-door boxes with personal items such as clothes, shoes, as well as gifts, and food items. I have contracted the services of ATLAS SHIPPPER INTERNATIONAL at the Sacramento, CA branch to ship my door-to-door boxes on 2 separate dates. The companys courier picked box # [redacted] (BOX # 1) on March 21, 2014 and box # [redacted] (BOX #2) on March 26, 2014. These boxes were taped by my husband using the black Gorilla duct tape scantily thinking the shipper will strap them anyway. (We have shipped door-to-door boxes with this shipper several times before but they were to ship to my sister without us being there). The courier did not strap these boxes in front of us. (Please note that according to the personnel from the office, the strap was a black poly strap)When we arrived the Philippines on May 13, 2014, the boxes were there, untouched with black poly straps on each boxes except the smaller box. I was the one who cut these straps and noticed that a lot of items were missing from both boxes. From box # 1 : bag of clothes with panties and bra, Ziploc bags of dental floss, Q-tips, cotton balls, black leather belt western style, brown wedge jeweled sandals, 2boxes of Kruteauz pancake mix, bags of Halls cough drops around 10 bags, 2014 calendars (3). From box # 2, Boxes of spaghetti noodles, set of ORLY nail polish, Dana Karan body powder, bags of clothes. These are the items I can remember by heart because these are for my personal use and gifts and give away to my relatives and friends. I was greatly inconvenienced because of these missing items were meant for my personal use and gifts. When my husband came back to Sacramento, CA on June 2, 2014, he went to the Atlas branch in Sacramento on June 4 and reported the incident to Ms. [redacted] who told him he has to write an incident report. My husband and I decided to submit the incident report when I get back to Sacramento. On June 26, 2014, we submitted the incident report to Ms. [redacted] with the list of items missing from my boxes. Ms. [redacted] then faxed the incident report to the main office in Vallejo. We were told that they will investigate this incident. On several occasions, my husband or I will drop by the office to follow-up on the outcome of the investigation which was taking quite a long time to complete. On July 10, 2014, I received an email from Ms. [redacted] with a partial report saying that the boxes reached the destination in good conditions with pictures of my sister (receiving boxes #1 small box also) and our house companion for box #2. And from here on, the owner [redacted] refused to do further investigation since the boxes reached the destination, I quote in good conditions. On July 16, 2014 at 4:45 pm, my husband and I, in front of the staff of ATLAS shippers in Sacramento, spoke with the courier, Renato Munar who denied having anything to do with the lost items and management believed him being with the company for 7 years and no complaint of this sort was brought about him.My point is: the items mentioned above were missing; the boxes left my house unstrapped on both dates and anyone could have taken these items from the time the courier picked these boxes up the time these boxes were strapped for shipping. I quote Ms. [redacted], the poly strap we used is only accessible by the personnel here in California, United States per her email dated July 10, 2014.Desired Settlement: I am expecting compensation for the lost items and a companys plan of action to prevent future loses like this. An apology perhaps. I am not filing this complaint if the items mentioned above were not taken from my boxes. They might think this is nothing, but those items are meant for personal use, gifts and give away to relatives and friends. I came out very short and greatly inconvenienced by these losses.

Upon receipt of your letter, we immediately conducted an investigation of the alleged missing items. The attached photo shows that the boxes received were fully strapped, complete, and received in good condition. Hence, how could there be missing items?

As to his allegations of failed timely delivery, we delivered his boxes within the scheduled time allowed. Normal shipping takes about 30 to 45 days (from the US to Iloilo City) and based on the departure date at the Port of Oakland, California. Upon arrival in Manila Port, it will be subject to processing and inspecting, and from there it will be delivered from Manila to Iloilo City. With the US Customs and Border Patrol, our container, from time to time are subject to Homeland Security Inspections, and will cause delay in the processing and shipping time.

The invoice shows his boxes were picked -up from his location in Sacramento on January 16, 2014. Date of delivery to Iloilo City is on February 28, 2014 and within the delivery period.

Review: On Saturday 4/5/2014,my wife and I took a package in to be sent to the Philippines($180.00).We were told by [redacted],as per her supervisor, that we needed at least another $145.00 ?,and a copy of the receipt for a auto part that was in the package. All this was done today, with $330.00 cash. Now I was told that we needed $450.00 to send these same two packages off, another $120.00 ?.I drove down from the grass valley area, on my only day off for the week ?.Approximately 80 miles round trip ?,for NOTHING. We were lied to and are being scammed for extra pocket cash ?,I grabbed a business card, and asked from the other attendant which card was hers ?.Her Id # is [redacted] ?.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for the gas, wasted trip due to being lied to $25.00.They accept the package for what we have, and cover it with the insurance at their expense for lying to / scamming customers.
