The customer signed a contract on May 14, for a fence around their pool, contract total of
$8,The customer applied to *** *** for a six month same as cash payment term
Customer was approved by *** ***When the invoice for the fence went unpaid for days, a
collection
call was made to the customer to collect the debtThe customer returned the call and indicated
they financed through *** however, when the project was completed the customer never notified
*** that the project was done which is what allows Atlas Fence to get paid*** sent several
emails to the customer, none of which were responded toOne thing that is very important to noteOnce
the customer gets approved by *** Atlas fence's payment arrangement is with *** unless the
customer fails to notify them that the project is completeAtlas Fence has no control over what ***
charges, what payment arrangements are made, credit terms etc*** cannot share any customer
information with Atlas Fence*** is an outstanding and long running financial company that has
helped numerous homeowners finance projects for home improvementsThey are a completely
independent organization with no financial interest in Atlas FenceAtlas Fence cannot accept
responsibility for the customer's negligence in not communicating with the finance company they
contract with
Relative to the phone calls mentioned in the complaint letter, at no time was the Atlas Fence caller rude
or unprofessionalEvery attempt was made to contact this customer who is obviously very busySeveral
letters and statements were sent to her home asking her to pay the bill as her *** contract expired
At no time did Atlas Fence receive payment or any phone calls back after the call referenced in this letter
Finally, after having to file a mechanics lien and engage an attorney to get this bill paid, the complainant's
husband called and paid the bill

The Fence was installed as per the manufactures standards and it looks terrific. The area of concern is a gate located at the side of the driveway on a concrete walkway. After the installation of the fence the concrete walkway heaved which caused the gate to be out of alignment. Atlas Fence returned...

to the site twice to adjust the gate at no charge despite the fact that the heaving sidewalk had nothing to do with the installation of the fence. The customer was not happy so we returned to the site at no charge and replaced the gate, The Customer did not like the replacement gate because it was too high off the ground. We made the gate that way so the heaving sidewalk wouldn't affect the gate movement. We returned again and installed a double gate at no charge. The Customer liked the gate but it was higher than a section of 21 feet of fence that was next to it. We replaced the 21 feet offence at no charge so it aligned with the gate height. The Customer was still not happy with the gate, called and complained again. We sent a representative back to their house and told them we would build another gate at no charge however, we wanted the father who is clearly the 'expert' in fence construction to give us the measurements of the gate and we will build it in accordance with his specifications and he can install it. This offer still stands but we will not return to the site to do anymore work. We have met our contractual obligations and have returned to the site numerous times, all at NO COST to the customer. Clearly, there is no pleasing this customer. There isn't one other fence company in the town that would incur the costs we did to try and satisfy this customer.

Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] at the business who did review the complaint and details and relayed the following response and offer of resolution: There is one solution we can offer. The grade of the property slopes away from the house. It would require a lot of work on our end but we are willing to pull the fence posts and reset and get rid of the tapering to the slope and run the fence straight with the rest of the fence, where it will run straight on top. This solution would create spots at the bottom of the fence where the consumer would need to fill in some ground, we would not be responsible for this.

I received a call from [redacted] from Atlas  at 2:15 on 6/26/2014 which I heard after the crew left. Atlas crew came into my property on 6/26/2014 without my knowledge or permission they did not knock on my door or ring my bell and give me ample notification.  I stepped outside to my back yard and there they were installing the Solar Cap, who are they that they think they can come into my property like that without giving me the courtesy in my own home and just walk in? They were here for 20 min they saw the holes and said they had some dirt but did not have enough dirt to throw in the holes outside areas of the fence leaving the inside of areas of the fence post open and uncovered.  I told them they could use the same dirt that was on the ground that they had taken out when they did the job if they did not have enough dirt.  They pour their bags of dirt and left without a word to me again, not an I am done, we are finished, is every okay? Nothing the same way they came in is the same way they came out. I do appreciate Atlas completing something that should have been done from the start I don't appreciate trespassing on my property without permission.  This is a small part of what I am speaking of and dealing with Atlas now had I been out there naked in the privacy of my own back yard I can guarantee there would have been legal action taken. I don't care what [redacted]'s history is or his staff in my experience Poor management on site construction, Poor Customer Service Skills! That is never going to change in my eyes period. I would never recommend Atlas to anyone.
Aside from the above [redacted] still has not addressed the fact that I did not receive a Tapered Fence as signed and agree on the Contract which is my complaint to Revdex.com that you have a copy of and have pictures.  I was promised something and they did not deliver, as for the Arbor post that were left uncovered I covered my self, I covered a lot of the areas post myself because I have two small dogs that kept going under the fence and it was dangerous for them.
I am going to say this again I want to be compensated 1000.00 for not meeting the contracted commitment and for the stress, inconvenience, labor I had to put in to correcting their work left undone, everything else is irrelevant as [redacted] stated.  I feel I am entitled to it if they were paying for a job and they did not get what was contracted for would do the same and I am so would you.  I had enough of this going back and forth when [redacted] knows from the door this whole job was botched up.  He needs to take responsibility and own up to what his staff did not do. The same way they walked into my home on 6/26/2014 with no courtesy is the same way I have been treated from the door.  I will send you the photos I took immediately after the left in the mail.  Thank you for your attention and your assistance the Revdex.com is to protect consumers from situations like this.  I hope that justice can be served here as I am really tired and don't want to hear anymore excuses for a Contract unfulfilled and a job poorly done.  I am sorry but it is my right to fight for what I know is right I was not have not been treated with any kind of respect.

In regards to the complaint referenced above, please see the attached correspondence from [redacted] regarding the completion of her fence. This matter has been resolved, the fence is complete, and she has paid her bill in full. She has also stated in her e-mail that she will be sending you a...

letter. In regards to her statement about Atlas reporting her to the credit bureau; in 35 years Atlas Fence has NEVER contacted any credit reporting agency regarding a customer that doesn't pay. Her statement regarding Atlas reporting her is 100% false and I take exception to it. Please clear our file as this is no longer an issue. To whom it may concern, I am responding back to the letter written by Christopher P./president from Atlas Fence Company. We were reading it over and there were some errors for example, the fence on the driveway side had a downward slope to it and it was inches off the ground. The original gate (large single) was not hitting the ground at first by using it, it started to drag on the ground. After taking the top off the post by the gate we realizes the pole inside was not large enough to handle that large gate (father noticed that). So we called the company and they came over and replaced the fence and looked at the gate. They thought by putting a double gate that it would prevent the dragging of the large single gate. They had to put in a larger pole to hold up the gate. The top of the gate is not even but the bottom of the gate is and it does not drag. We did not make the company replace the fence because it was higher than the gate (which is what they stated in their letter). I feel that they were mocking my father because he found an error in their work which they did not like. I chose Atlas Fence Company to install my fence knowing that they were well known and that they would be able to fix any problem that would occur, which should not be up to the homeowner to solve.
