Review: I purchased a gallon of paint from this store that turned out to be the wrong type. I went back and they refused to exchange it or even work with me. At this point I was told that this is a custom color and not exchangeable. First of all I had no way to know that this was a custom color because I picked the color from their catalogue and there is no mention of this being a custom color (see attachment). I asked the cashier behind the counter, why they don't post THEIR POLICY OF NO EXCHANGES ON THE WALL FOR PEOPLE TO CLEARLY SEE, before making a purchase. The cashier told me the policy is on the receipt (see attachment). The problem is you only get a receipt after you pay, so you have no advance notice. The cashier pointed to a no returns after 30 day policy posted at the very top of the back wall, which unless you're looking up towards the ceiling it is not visible. Moreover, it says nothing about custom colors.Desired Settlement: I only found out about their policy AFTER I MADE THE PURCHASE. This means that notice of their policy is insufficient and contrary to responsible business practices. My money should be refunded because I needed to purchase the correct type of paint.

The only thing not refundable in the store is custom colors. Our return policy is stated clearly around the store. I don't know why this particular customer had a problem with our policy but their is nothing we can do for him. Usually when a customer makes a mistake we are happy to accommodate them , but this particular customer was very aggressive and very rude so there really was no helping him. The man was asked to leave the store do to his behavior and was trying to start altercations with other customers. Its always good to be sure what you need before ordering a custom color, and when you make a mistake admit. Being honest goes a long way.

Its too bad [redacted] still feels this way , but I would advise him to pay more attention next time. In 11 years doing business this is our only case of a customer either not paying attention or not understanding our return policy. I guess you cant make everyone happy.

Isn't it a shame that this greedy shopkeeper can't stop being dishonest. Look at the jpeg titles. At the end of each one it says 12.*.13 the day the pictures were taken or in the alternative the date that Revdex.com received the pictures. My complaint was filed in October. If he was credible he would have sent pictures in his initial response, not 2 months later. I attach photos of the lid on the paint can and nowhere does it say custom and non-returnable. Well, dishonesty and greed go hand and hand.
