Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] If figured that this would be their response since this was what they had sent me via an email If work had been performed properly the first time they came out they would not have to return to fix the issues I had My guess is that they had some inexperienced employees that were not properly trained In the 20+ years I have lived at this address and the many seal coatings that I have had done; I never have the cracks in the asphalt open up in a month period Regards, [redacted]

Still Sealcoating did an amazing job on my drivewayThey were courteous and accommodatingI look forward to working with them again next year

They should to be investigated for faulty advertising and a terrible product they are smearing on unsuspecting Wisconsin driveways.I could understand if only the spots that I primed turned out worse but the entire driveway looks like crap and they call themselves a company that does the job right,it's an absolute joke!! I will continue to let everyone I know not to hire Still Sealcoating for any type of sealcoating job as they will destroy your driveway! And any reputable company associated with the Better Business Bereau would have at least come out and looked at the awful job they did but Still Sealcoating [redacted] and [redacted] instead lied about investigating the problem and lied about contacting their suppliers, these is a shady run company that has no business being mentioned in the same breath as the Better Business Bereau!!

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] Still Sealcoating lied about everything in their response, they said they redid my driveway within 1 to 3 days when it took them 28 days to redo the rain damage,I did put down an Oil Spot Primer which was latex based on parts of the driveway that were very oily from the rain washing off the sealer, according to them they use a latex base sealer so Latexite Oil Spot primer should have been a good primer to use with their sealer, they said they could not see the footprints from their workers in the sealer as you can clearly see them in the pictures I took, they also said they would send someone out to look at the blue splotches and deep brush marks all over the driveway which no one came out and [redacted] admitted that she chewed out the workers for not changing the brushes after she saw the pictures I sent her after the redo, [redacted] also lied about contacting their supplier to find out why my driveway looks so bad, blue splotches everywhere and sealer cracking everywhere but no one investigated that either, this company has severely damaged my driveway with whatever that was they put on my driveway, this company by no means has any place in the RevDex.com in my opinion. Also they said I put the primer all over when in fact I just covered a few spots with oily residue that dried hard from the sealer being washed off and those spots don't look any worse if not better than the areas I didn't even apply it. As far as I'm concerned I am at least deserved of a refund of $130. as this will most likely cost a lot more to repair the damage they've done to my driveway, even before they sealed it the first time the workers mentioned that this was the nicest driveway they have done in a while and it was then, now its a disaster thanks to Still Sealcoating! They also lie about "Taking the time to do it right" as can be seen by the deep brush marks and footprints in the sealer, their guarantee is useless in my opinion when their second application is even worse than their first!

We are disappointed with this situation and would like to have it resolved in a way that benefits all sides involvedsans-serif;">We originally sealed Mr [redacted] driveway in early June and as he had mentioned it rained shortly after He then began a steady string of emails detailing the situation and his concern over his driveway As is our standard operating procedure, we informed him that we would be back to re-seal his driveway free of charge We would be scheduling his work when we are in the area doing other driveways, usually with 1-days later, weather depending He also mentioned an "oily residue" on his driveway This is the first time I have ever had this experience with a washout Because our sealer is latex-based, while washouts are an inconvenience, we feel there is no long-term damage because whatever product has not cured on the driveway before the rain will wash away or fully cure once the rain stops Unfortunately, Mr [redacted] was unable to wait until we returned and chose to apply a product he described as an "oil spot primer" to the "oily residue" spots on his driveway At this time, I drove to his location and looked at the driveway and the spots that were primed I have never seen anything like what I saw that day The entire driveway was covered in very shiny areas while the rest of the driveway was more of a matte finish as is usual with our sealer Because I had never, in my years of sealcoating, seen something like this, I was unwilling to guarantee any future work we would do for Mr [redacted] But I was still willing to redo the entire driveway at no cost to Mr [redacted] We completed the work as we promised and that's when the unending string of complaints began. As we researched what happened and worked on a solution, multiple emails would come in every day detailing how Mr [redacted] intends to ruin our small business as his "life mission", slander our name anywhere he can, and sue us in court We chose to take the high road and not respond to his threats as we decided what to doA lot of his information seemed to come from a neighbor who has been sealcoating for 30+ years Which seems like a biased source if I ever heard of one It also begs the question, Why didn't he have this neighbor seal his driveway? As evidenced by the fact that he submitted complaints to the Revdex.com within a matter of days of each other, Mr [redacted] is very persistent and overwhelming with his complaints and if we dedicated all of our time responding to him, we would not be able to service our satisfied customers.Again, we are very disappointed this happened but feel that we have completed our service as promised If we didn't want satisfied customers, we would have never gone back the second time to redo the driveway Our finished driveways do have brush strokes People hire us because we apply our sealer with brushes as opposed to spraying While brush strokes sometimes can be seen, this is due to the thickness of the sealer which equals a longer life Also, the only footprints I can see are animal footprints, either a dog or cat. Please let me know if you need any other information or a video of the driveway after the product was applied to the driveway by Mr [redacted] .Looking forward to a resolution, [redacted] OwnerStill Sealcoating, LLC

We are disappointed with this situation and would like to have it resolved in a way that benefits all sides involved. sans-serif;">We originally sealed Mr. [redacted] driveway in early June and as he had mentioned it rained shortly after.  He then began a steady string of emails detailing the situation and his concern over his driveway.  As is our standard operating procedure, we informed him that we would be back to re-seal his driveway free of charge.  We would be scheduling his work when we are in the area doing other driveways, usually with 1-3 days later, weather depending.  He also mentioned an "oily residue" on his driveway.  This is the first time I have ever had this experience with a washout.  Because our sealer is latex-based, while washouts are an inconvenience, we feel there is no long-term damage because whatever product has not cured on the driveway before the rain will wash away or fully cure once the rain stops.  Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] was unable to wait until we returned and chose to apply a product he described as an "oil spot primer" to the "oily residue" spots on his driveway.  At this time, I drove to his location and looked at the driveway and the spots that were primed.  I have never seen anything like what I saw that day.  The entire driveway was covered in very shiny areas while the rest of the driveway was more of a matte finish as is usual with our sealer.  Because I had never, in my 21 years of sealcoating, seen something like this, I was unwilling to guarantee any future work we would do for Mr. [redacted].  But I was still willing to redo the entire driveway at no cost to Mr. [redacted].  We completed the work as we promised and that's when the unending string of complaints began. As we researched what happened and worked on a solution, multiple emails would come in every day detailing how Mr. [redacted] intends to ruin our small business as his "life mission", slander our name anywhere he can, and sue us in court.  We chose to take the high road and not respond to his threats as we decided what to do. OwnerStill Sealcoating, LLC

Still Sealcoating sealed a driveway for Mr. [redacted] in August of 2014.  At this time, all cracks were filled as is our standard practice.  Mr. [redacted] informed us that some cracks were missed and/or had sunken.  We...

proceeded to return to the job multiple times during the fall of 2014.  Each time we filled more areas per Mr. [redacted]'s request.  During this time, Mr. [redacted] withheld payment, not paying until 90 days after the job was completed.  While one or even two return trips to fill cracks are not completely unusual, after that point, we had done everything we could do.  The requests were becoming excessive and it was determined that Mr. [redacted] had unreasonable expectations of what sealcoating could do for his driveway.  At that point, as a company, we decided that no matter how many times we returned to Mr. [redacted]'s driveway, he would never be satisfied.

We acknowledge that the customer is concerned about the color and condition of his driveway.  We were unsure about how it would turn out after the application of an unknown product which is why we did not provide a warranty.  Just like a mechanic will not provide a warranty when someone brings in their own parts, we cannot warranty our services when a customer chooses to apply an unknown product.

The facts are:

-We sealed the driveway and it washed out.
-We drove out and looked at the driveway and determined that we would redo it
-Mr. [redacted] agreed to have it done without a warranty after applying an unknown product
-We redid the driveway for a second time as requested.
-Mr. [redacted] stated that he would make it his "life's mission" to destroy our small, family-owned business

The actions and/or inactions we have taken to resolve this are:

-responding to all complaints filed through the Revdex.com
-re-doing the driveway a second time when it washed out
-clearly stating that there would be no warranty so we could avoid this type of situation
-not responding to Mr. [redacted]'s threats, phone calls, messages, website postings, and slanderous comments

Unfortunately, because we have spent countless hours on this responding to complaints, redoing the work, sending employees and the owner's out to the job on multiple ocassions, we are unable to provide a refund at this time.  If we had included a warranty, like we do on all of our work where foreign products are not applied, we would be more than happy to provide a full refund.  We are disappointed that this situation could not be resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

Thank you,
