Our car broke down last night approximately feet from our house We left the car for about 30-minutes to get the tools needed to get it running and when we came back our car was gone We were told that one of our neighbors had it towed saying that it was abandoned and parked on private property (only tires were in this person's yard the rest of the car was on the road plus it had only been there for less than an hour) After finding out who had the car, we contacted Carolina Pro Recovery and went to their facility off of *** Road The tow truck operator had just off loaded the car We told him that we were the owners of the car, pointed at it, and said we were there to pick it up The driver then told us that he did not pick up our car and that it wasn't there We were looking right at it After arguing with him for a few minutes he finally gave in and said we would have to come back tomorrow Well, tomorrow is today and we contacted them to pick up the car We were told that it would be over $to get the car backTowing for miles and storage fees Are you serious? How could there be a storage fee when we were there within minutes to pick up the car? This is PRICE GOUGING at its finest The driver tried to lie to say it wasn't even there and then said we had to come back, all in order to get storage fees Never use this company! They do no deserve to be in business and should have their business license revoked!
