Review: A chain link fence post was damaged during the removal of a tree last fall and I'm trying to get it repaired properly.

Last October I had a large Cottonwood tree removed from my backyard. Atlas Tree Service removed the tree and in the process accidentally bent a chain link fence post that supports a gate in my back yard. We weren't able to get the post repaired before the winter, so I waited until the spring to get it repaired. Since this spring, I have placed numerous calls to Atlas Tree and worked with a woman named [redacted] who has promised on several occasions to call me back and rarely ever does. She has scheduled people to come fix the gate on multiple occasions and either they don't show up, or they do show up and don't call me and let me know they are coming so I can show them what needs to be repaired. Twice now, they have done the repair incorrectly. With proper communication and workers that would show up at the agreed upon time, this whole process would not be taking the months it has taken. I just want to have my gate repaired properly.Desired Settlement: I am looking to have Atlas Tree Service properly repair my gate that was damaged.

Atlas Tree Service has acknowledged and admitted to damaging a fence post at [redacted] Circle, Salt Lake City, UT in October of 2012.

Atlas has taken several steps in repairing the fence post; we have been there multiple times to resolve this matter. A new post was bought, the old post dug out, the new one then placed and cemented in on our last visit there.

[redacted] has not seemed happy with any efforts or options Atlas has provided.

An agreement has been reached between Atlas and [redacted], which we will return to the residence within the next couple of weeks to finalize the last repair on the post.

Atlas Tree did come out and make a satisfactory repair. The reason this issue was not resolved in the first visit, and took about 6 months to resolve, is that several times they failed to show up when I was told they would show up, and when they did finally show up, they failed to call me before they did the work. I had requested multiple times for them to call me when they were on their way. If they had called, they would have done the correct repair the first time and saved themselves several trips.
