Review: An agreement was established with this company to rent an instrument for my son and the company was to draft our debit card. Upon contacting the business to update new debit card information, we never got an answer or a returned call after leaving several voicemails. On my husband's day off, he would travel to the store in hopes to speak with someone to update the information, but the business was always closed during hours operating hours. Again, several messages were left and no returned phone calls. This occurred over a period of time until it reached the time when my son needed to return the instrument. Again when we tried to return the instrument, we ran into the same problem with the business being closed and no returned calls. Just recently, after a year or more have passed. We have been contacted by a collection agency stating that we owe over $1200 for this instrument, but they would settle for $400. I explained to them what Atlee music center has put us through and asked for a forwarding address and phone number if they were still in business. Upon speaking with the current manager, he explained that the business had been moved and now has new management. He also stated that the previous management of the business left with a lot of issues unresolved, but couldn't be of service to me. I need assistance in resolving this bad business practice that I as a customer should not be penalized for!Desired Settlement: Because of poor business practices, we should not have to pay for an instrument that we have tried to return. We should not also have to pay for any back rental fees that have been incurred because our messages where not returned so that we could update our card information.
