I am aware of this issue because the customer, [redacted] ***, approached me at my gas station not too long ago. When he showed up, he brought one of the four packs with him. The cashier happily traded the single pack with a brand new one but we still have the old pack that he brought with him and... there has been no damage to the package. I am currently waiting for the distributor, that goes by the name of Holiday Wholesale’s salesman to arrive at my gas station anywhere between 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. this Tuesday to properly address the issue. We will open the pack in front of him. I have also called the manufacture’s salesman who will be coming in from the company Phillips Morris U.S.A. This company is known for manufacturing the cigarettes that [redacted] brought in. From the moment that the customer came into the store, I have been taking the proper preliminary measures by calling representatives from each company. We are looking forward to this matter being fully resolved in the right manner by the end of this week. The manufacture will be issuing credit to the distributor, whom will then be crediting me. I will then pass the credit on to the customer [redacted] ***. If [redacted] can please bring any proof of purchase containing the 4 packets of Parliament cigarettes that he purchased, it would be genuinely appreciated and helpful even if he did not purchase it from my store. I have yet to see any proof that the cigarettes were purchased from my store at Williamson Street. Every cigarette carton contains ten packets. He claims that he purchased 4 of the ten from my store. This leaves me to wonder why the customers who purchased the remaining six packs did not show up with the same concern if the cigarettes were tampered to begin with. I have been in this business for the last 25 years and have never encountered an issue of such sort. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. As mentioned in person and in original complaint, I purchased the tampered cigarettes at the gas station in question on 1/Here's a screenshot of my bank account: http://grab.by/NBpuI understand the owner's desire to verify, but I also assume he has records and can correlate my purchase with the events that occurred.
So everyone knows, I reached out to Phillip Morris, explained the situation and they reimbursed me for packs.
The gas station in question on Willy street has lost my business due to poor customer service, not due to tampered cigsI understand that can happenThe right solution would have been to give me new packs to account for the tampered packs I purchased from the store and take up the matter with their distributor or whoever elseInstead, they refused and lost my business going forwardOh well.
