This Landlord/Management company are the worstThey chronically over charge their tenants for legals fees without even bringing tenants on a legal proceedingTenants bewareThis company is notorious for not accepting rent money late without collecting their "legal fees" of $or moreThose fees do not have to be paid unless you lose in the court proceedingIf they don't accept rent late with the added $late fee, call your local town politician or district attorney office to file a complaintEverything with this company must b documentedAny request have to be in writing and if nothing is done contact the attorney general to file complaintsThe living conditions in these apartments all over New York are inhuman and deplorableA total disgusting mess

Review: I have resided in this apartment at [redacted] since July 2014. During the change of season I notice that mice were in my apartment(as I caught one) I then contacted my management company regarding the problem. The management company responded and sent an exterminator who exterminated around the problem area, but not inside my apartment. Approximately a month ago I contacted my superintendent to let him know that I continue to have a mice problem( as I had seen another mouse). To date he has not responded to my request, this is even after a reminder that was given to him prior to the Christmas holiday.

I continue to have this problem and am fearful of sleeping in the evening time in my apartment. In addition I must keep lights on in the evening to limit the mobility of the mice from roaming in my apartment.

I request that the management company address this problem immediately as it is a safety hazard. In addition I have been informed that the prior tenant also had a mice problem. I was not informed of this concern prior to signing a lease and moving in.Desired Settlement: It is my desire for the management company to treat this mice problem in my apartment. If this can not be done I am requesting to be moved to another apartment (that does not have this issue)

Review: On December **, 2015, I responded to an advertisement for a one bedroom apartment from A.T.M. Real Estate Apartment Rentals. The apartment was located at [redacted]. I was shown the apartment and informed the A.T.M. Agent that I wanted to rent it. I was told at that time that I would have to pay $30 for them to acquire my credit report. As per the advertisement enclosed, it did not indicate that getting an apartment was contingent upon my credit report score. I was denied the apartment because I was told that there were negative entries on the report. I requested a copy of the report and A.T.M refused to provide me with a copy. At first I was told that there were 12 negative entries by one agent and 5 by another one of their agents. I suspect that they had not acquired my report at all. They gave me a number to call to obtain a copy of the report. I feel that since I had paid $30 for the report, I should be entitled to get a copy from them. I returned to the Homeless Shelter where I currently reside and met with the Housing Specialist there. She called A.T.M. and spoke with Joseph (who refused to give his last name) to request a copy. Joseph refused to give me or the Housing Specialist a copy.Desired Settlement: I want them to give me a copy of the report that they claim to have received since two of their Agents gave me two different negative entries. I need proof that they had actually received my report. Thank you for your assistance.

Last month I put $1000 to hold an apartment. the real estate place told me in order for me to hold an apartment I have to put money down. I am currently [redacted] hurricane sandy. we was informed by our case worker to find an apartment and red cross will cover all of the fees. April [redacted] red cross sent back alot of there workers, leaving the clinets (me) in a ditch. my move in date was May *. I informed the real estate agent I was having a hard time getting in contact with someone at red cross for the rental assistance. ([redacted]) one of the employees who works there told me I didnt have much time before the apartment would be place back on the market. I was informed today that apartment is put back on the market and now my funds are non refundable. I would like to report them and get my money back. This is un ethic and I just want my money back so I can find another apartment. PLEASE THIS IS A URGENT MATTER.
