Atmospheric Water Systems, Inc. Reviews (2)

Review: I purchased and prepaid from Atmospheric Water Systems (AWS) and its merchant, "Angelic Water Systems," for two DK-11 water generator units and replacement kits (DK-9: 3 replacement kits; DK-11: 6 replacement kits) on 11/29/2012. As of today (04/08/2014), I have not received these replacement filter kits. In addition, neither the sales rep ([redacted]) nor the CEO (Randal [redacted]) will return any of the several messages I have left for each. Mr. [redacted] repeatedly put me off over the past year-and-a-half saying the kits were on the way, but he knew this was not true. I've tried to reach out to Mr. [redacted] about this issue, but he has neither returned any of the several voice mails I left for him, nor is he immediately available to take my call. I've even attempted through social media to reach out to this company in order to have this company or its representative acknowledge me and this issue, without success. This company has actively and willfully defrauded this consumer, and continues to do so. It has violated a contractual agreement which was agreed to in good faith prior to the sale/purchase of any units. I prepaid a significant amount of money for this product and these 9 replacement kits, without which these pricey machines are useless.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to deliver to me these prepaid items to which it contractually agreed, and to which I prepaid in good faith. I can provide to you a copy of the e-mail receipt for the items if necessary. This company and its representative's behavior is both unethical and unconscionable, and has acted in a way to deliberately defraud the consumer from the items due to him.I expect this company to address this issue immediately, and take action to rectify this injustice.

Review: I purchased a DK11 on 4/26/12. The item arrived around 5/1/12. I followed all steps to set up the Atmospheric Water Generator. On 12/19/12, I called [redacted] because I received an error message on my machine. A little over 6 months of having this machine and I start having issues. After installing the replacement filters, the error continues. I emailed Ian again because of the issues. Over 2 months I waited for replacement filters and a working machine. During that 2 month period, I constantly had to send reminder emails and follow up emails because I was being blown off. Dozens of emails requesting better service and/or a refund. Only to be told that the "fix" will be sent soon. I didn't want to be delayed and ignored out of warranty. Over 50 emails were sent back and forth, sometimes even 2-3 emails I'd send would go unanswered. Once I finally got a set of replacement filters on 1/15/13, they would work for a few weeks... Then the machine would stop working again. I'd get the same error code. I'd email again... Only to be told replacement filters will be sent. After another month of waiting, still no replacement filters. This machine was well over $1700. This machine has been off and broken for more than 1/3 of the time I've owned it.There are several emails in which I requested a refund. To which Ian would reply, "let's see if the filters fix the problem"... I feel that was Ian's way of delaying me out of warranty. After requesting a refund several times, nothing has been done. The follow up and response time from this company has been horrible. On top of that, my family was drinking water that was filtered through unreliable filters... Who knows what we were drinking. I have several emails stating that the water tastes funny. IF you buy a product that has a year warranty... You shouldn't have to wait three (3) months for a fix. Throwing parts at the problem isn't the solution. Especially when the customer requested a refund.Desired Settlement: Refund. Because if they replace the unit, in a few months I'll be contacting them for filters... And their follow up service is horrible. I'd have to call them every week until the new filters arrive.Refund. I don't want to deal with this horrible service and unreliable service.
