Business is Charging me a Membership Fee even though there closed due to COVID-19
She states she wants a refund for the month we are closed. We've never closed, we are offering the same classes virtually online six days per week. We offered her to have a month extended for free at the end of her membership agreement and she declined our offer. We we waived the early termination fee of $199 and canceled her payments leaving her with no further payments and a savings we absorbed of $199. If she pays the early termination fee we told her we would refund her one payment. She wants us to pay her early termination fee of $199 and refund her a payment costing us $324 which we simply cannot afford at this time and think it's unconscionable for her to ask this of us during this pandemic.

I am unsatisfied with the response because the contract I signed was for hands on classes. Not virtual. I understand this is what the business must do but as of mid March businesses were closed. The building was not reopened in April therefore he cannot charge me a membership fee. I also know he has refunded others in the same situation yet I’m getting the run around.
