I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], They did return my $50.00. The reasoning this person used was off the wall. Most of the repair businesses in this area only charge $25.00 to open a TV and check it out.  It wasn't that I could not comprehend anything that this person had to say. It was the fact that I fell outside of his business and hurt my hand and I told him I really did not care to listen to him. All I wanted was to pick up my TV and leave his place of business. He got mad. He offered me the refund, I did not demand anythig from him, but the return of my broken TV, and allow me to leave.

When this customer brought in his first TV we were running a
free estimate special. When the second TV was brought in the special had ended.
He was charged an estimate fee of $50.00. The customer was told if he approved
the estimate...

that the $50.00 dollars would be deducted from his bill. If he did
not approve the estimate the $50.00 would pay for the technician time. He was
given the estimate and he approved it.
In an effort to keep the cost down we were able to source the part from
a company in China. The part was delayed because of a Chinese national holiday.  Customer was not happy with the delay and
chose not to have the repair made.  When
he came in to pickup his TV it was obvious he did not comprehend the
explanation of the estimate fee.  His
estimate fee was returned to him.

I have a Samsung UN65F6300 Smart TV that I purchased three months ago. The on/off cycling was defective so Samsung contracted Atomic Television to repair it. The technician ([redacted]) arrived at the exact time stated, replaced the mother board and the main electrical board, made all adjustments, and the TV is like new. Hopefully it will continue to do so for a long time. [redacted] was very courteous, professional, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Atomic TV to others.

Review: I took one of my tv's to this repair store a few months, because it would take a long time to warm up and start. They told me what it was and aproxiately what it would cost and I said okey. I told the tech that I had another tv that I was giving me some trouble with but I'd hang on to it cause I'd have to wait for my Social Security check to pay for this one. They called me about a week later and told me to come get it. I had the money in the bank so I picked it up. I told the tech that if they did a good job on this one that I would be a returning customer. On Feburary 11, 2015, I took the second tv in for repair. The tech hooked up the tv, told me what he thought was the problem and told me that I had to give him a $50.00 deposit to inspect the tv . I asked why at the time and was told it would come off the price of repair. I told him that I could put it on my credit card but I hoped that the repair wouldn't be much more. It was not out of service, it just did not adjust well with colors. He said that he would call me. They did call me and told me that I would have to come up with almost $200.00 more to get my tv back. It isn't that big a tv and I could have put another $100.00 with it and buy a new tv some where else. I told the tech that, this was alot of money just to get a used tv to be repaired! I told him at first that I could not afford it, and would like to have my $50.00 returned and he said that that was not an option. That the $500.00 for inspecting the tv. I asked why he did not charge me like this the last time. I told him that I wanted it fixed but was not happy about this. I really did not have any choice in the matter. I've called twice in the past two weeks and they said that they did not know when the part would come in. The person was vague when they told me how easy a fix it would be, but was very precise in telling me how much trouble that they have had in the past getting this particular part. We went around and around on the phone but the bottom line was I was not getting my $50.00 dollars back nor would they apply it to a equal value tv. Here I return to this business for service on a tv that I'd already talked to him about and I got [redacted]. He told me that I could wait for the part no matter how long it took! The tech knew that they were having problems getting this part before I came in there.Desired Settlement: They made a profit on me the first time I came to them. I would like them to return my second tv and at least $25.00 .I am semi-retired and handy capped and this company is just taken advantage of me.
