I am rejecting this response because:Not sure what qualifications the administrators have at ATP, but I'm sure they have no place making medical diagnosisAlso, left out some information in your response, I contacted Ricardo Andreu back in Nobember for my belongings as well and have email record of thatNo attempt has been made to get my belongings backI was not allowed to go back to my apartment in Jacksonville to collect my belongings as I was 'terminated'Also, I didn't just resurface in Dallas, ATP flew me back to Dallas via airline tickets so they were well aware I was going to Dallas as you guys paid for my tickets backThe day after I fly back to Dallas I'm kicked out of my ATP apartment by two ATP workersAll of this for somebody they allege had a medical issue they terminate them, kick them out of their housing, and rip them offI need you to please mathematically lay out my program and costs according to your refund policyI need to see your calculations, because I had an independent party calculate via the refund policy and my itemized reciept and there's still a significant discrepancyI completed out of the ratings for $60,000(full cost of program for not even 50% completeion- how is that ethical?)I was guaranteed multi hours I had 91, I was guaranteed single engine hours I had I feel as if ATP has done nothing to help me,, but rather throw me out and have a lack of regard for me as their former student, seems as if ATP is more so concerned about money than my well-being, among other students too.

Hi -We have refunded $2,to Wells Fargo as requested.Even though ATP was not a good fit, we wish Steven the best of success.- *** ATP

Student [redacted] was terminated from training due to a medical and safety of flight concern. Student made no effort to resolve medical concerns with documentation from FAA approved aeromedical examiner. Refund was issued in accordance with the Training & Refund Policy.Following notes are...

summarized from our electronic student record:7-1-15 [redacted] went catatonic (literally) and left the training center in an ambulance backed up by police. Was hospitalized7-2-15 [redacted] went AWOL from the hospital and nobody could find him (including his mom) 7-7-15 resurfaced in Dallas. Moved out of housing. 7-14-15 Claimed he was unaware of why his program is discontinued. 7-17-15 explained - very nicely and professionally: [redacted] called and and asked why his program was terminated. I explained that since he had to leave the training center in an ambulance after becoming unresponsive we are concerned about his health and ability to maintain an FAA medical. When asked if he was okay, he acknowledged that he does have a "health issue that he needs to deal with" but gave no specifics otherwise. Advised that he should prioritize his health first, coordinate with his AME, and when that was all sorted out, then consider continuing his training. Until then advised his program was closed and he would receive a refund IAW T/R shortly.3-25-16 [redacted] has resurfaced again, looking for belongings that may or may not have been in JAX housing 8 months ago. Not sure of the disposition. 3-28, 29 increased demands and hostility - disputing his refund amount. email to me:Hello,Please explain to me for what reason my program was discontinued and why I was not allowed to continue. I need it in writing, a phone call will not acceptable this time. I need it in writing from you please.Have a great day,[redacted]We wish [redacted] the best of success.

On August 3, 2010, [redacted] ([redacted] paid a non-refundable first payment to secure his class date for October 4, 2010 in Jacksonville, Florida. On October 4, 2010, [redacted] no-showed his class start date. ATP made multiple attempts to contact the student, but with no success. Even his father...

and uncle called ATP trying to locate him as well. The non-refundable first payment covers the cost of materials and supplies shipped to the student prior to arrival, and the dedication of instructor and aircraft resources for a specific start date and training center combination. This policy is described on our website at https://atpflightschool.com/airline-career-pilot-program/policies.html .[redacted] never returned our calls until 2011 when he advised us of numerous background disqualifying events that would have prevented his admission into the program had he been truthful with our admissions staff from the outset. He never explained why he no-showed his class date months earlier.ATP will not refund this student's non-refundable first payment, and this student will not be admitted into our training programs. ATP is not the school for him, but we wish him the best of success in achieving his career objectives.

I am rejecting this response because:First off the company of ATP manipulates people and you Revdex.com. The lack of break down of actually cost and the training program and what it's really going to cost. Because of the hours that I have accrued from another flight school is not what going what the price is going to be listed as price on the what there custom plan. I have stated to them in emails that I still have that I lack some resources and they were rude about. They wanted me to have my FAA IFR written done before I came. Which that is supposed to be taught by them. They have false advertisement on there website. Which they don't have a Seattle outfit. But really that is in Tacoma Narrows Airport. I have spoke to your people about it recently  that you have not change it. They change there program for 90 days and recommend 180 days. They had no set program, so that states to me that they are not fit as a program as they state. They just want to put you into an aircraft and take your lump sum money and then when money gone then what's next, guess what I'm sorry we can't help you . I did go down to JAX FL. If you know what I look like then you don't know how to do business in the first place. These people are not held accountable. I believe that they did not have there acts together. They were aggressive sales people that didn't do there end of the work. You really don't need a cell phone to fly. You call on FSS and expect there departure time. Other than that if they come up with an exact break down of the training and how long it going to take. Then I would of done it. But since they do a lot of talking and no proof of the training and taking money, that is not business professionalism. Ethics are needed to be concluded into it. I don't want to be left stranded in FL by people that lack to do there job. I will further more in the next response.
Regards,

In the original complaint, the prospective customer asked for a refund of the $995 non-refundable first payment to reserve a class date.Because he no-showed/no-called, and never contacted us until months after his scheduled start date, we are unwilling to offer the flexibility we would normally offer any student with extenuating circumstances. This Revdex.com complaint now comes five years after the fact. The prospective student was scheduled for Jacksonville, Florida. I don't understand how Seattle entered the complaint. Also, because we are located at airports, it's customary for us to refer to a major metropolitan area like Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, etc. when the actual small airports are in suburbs of those major cities. Our program is one of the most well defined programs in the industry. We list hour-by-hour and day-by-day detail on our website. This prospective customer never even began training. None of the arguments relate to his request for his non-refundable deposit to be returned.I have no further information to add or resolution to suggest.
