Dear Revdex.com: First, thank you for considering my response We received the complaint via US Mail on February 10, – I have been out of the country until today but understand that my e-mail response will be part of the recordI received an e-mail from [redacted] the Town of *** Maine Code Enforcement Officer on December 27, I was on vacation that week as our office usually shuts down the week between Christmas and New Year; however I responded to the e-mail within ½ hrs of receiving it Her request involved a question on a wastewater disposal field that we had designed for the [redacted] Homeowners Association in I also received a phone message from [redacted] the afternoon of December 28, which I returned the next morning Ms [redacted] explained that they were at the point of closing on a home at [redacted] in [redacted] and that they really needed the information as soon as possible Ms [redacted] ’s and Ms [redacted] ’s question involved whether the home could support bedrooms and a new ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) I explained to Ms [redacted] that I was on vacation for the week but would try and help as soon as possible I went into our office, researched the old file and also the current State Regulations pertaining to subsurface wastewater disposal systems for a comparison with the Town’s regulations in their Zoning Ordinance I determined that although the design was for bedroom homes, a bedroom home could be allowed with the Code Officer’s approval I also determined that the ADU could be allowed with a small pre-treatment system I called Ms [redacted] with this information and also responded to Ms [redacted] by e-mail Please note that I have attached all pertinent e-mails including a Thank You e-mail from Ms [redacted] dated the 29th We followed up with the seller and were told that Ms [redacted] decided not to go thru with the closing (purchase of the home) Regardless we accomplished the work as requested and the $was billed at our customary rates (regardless of whether or not it was vacation week) I started this business in and we employ – professionals and staff; I don’t believe I have ever had a complaint filed with the Revdex.comAll pertinent information including the complaint and e-mails is attached; if I can provide any additional information please contact me Again, thank you for your considerationYours; *** [redacted] ***, P.E.PresidentATTARENGINEERING, INCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CIVIL u STRUCTURAL u MARINE State RoadEliot, ME 03903Phone: ###-###-####Fax: ###-###-#### www.attarengineering.com
