Review: I went to Attention to Detail to get my remote car starter upgraded. I handed in my old one so that [redacted] could send it in to get replaced. I was told that it wouldn't take more than a week. I gave him my information so that he could contact me when my new remote came in. A week went by and I didn't hear anything. My husband had gotten his car tints there and mentioned twice about when my remote would come in. Their reply was that the [redacted] truck hadn't come through yet and that [redacted] wasn't in that day. 2 weeks later I called and left a message for [redacted] through his coworker. 2.5 weeks later I called again and left a message. After 3 weeks I emailed him though the website knowing that he sees these emails. Now I'm on 3.5 weeks and I still have not heard back from them. The remote starter kit is worth $500. I can't use it unless I have the remote starter.

Desired Settlement: I want them to understand why I'm complaining. I'm not being valued or being paid attention to as a paying customer. I also want my remote starter to be replaced and that I should not be charged for it or at least get a discount. Are they being racist because I'm asian? Where is the communication?!

Review: The window tints that were purchased and installed on the vehicle were anticipated to be darker in color. The tints were described to be the legal limit but with no comprehension of tint darkness the customer thought the product they would be getting would be darker in color. The percentage of tint, was recommend by the installer which dictated the customers decision. The customer then expressed their dissatisfaction with the product that was installed less then a week later and was told that there is nothing they would do to try and correct the issue.

The tint job was purchased as a gift, we explained to the purchaser that by law we could only install tint that was within legal specifications for light transfer. There was no option for any darker tint, purchaser agreed to have it done. The owner of the vehicle was unsatisfied with the darkness. Because we did everything we were supposed to we offered a partial refund of 75 dollars. original bill was 129 dollars. Even though we feel we are not at fault we will give a full refund.

The complaint was filed after a phone conversation that was had with the company, in which I was told it was too bad that I didn't like the tint and there was nothing they would do for me. Since then I had a face to face conversation with the company and they agreed to the above partial refund and the removal of the old front window tints.
