Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] As my criminal history states I have NOT been CONVICTED of a crime and that is what the application asked I am in the process of going to court to have this taken care of and STILL AM NOT A CONVICTED CRIMINAL I told Mr Wilmoth on MULPTIPLE occasions that I RENTED the house next door to this one That would come with the understanding that I am on the lease, upon securing another residence I would of been removed from my obligation at [redacted] *** I never insisted to move the date of move in from June 2nd to July 1st, just mentioned it in the case that the background check took longer then necessary I was upfront and honest with Mr Wilmoth and based all my responses to him on the questions that were on the application He seems to have embellished the fact or insinuated that I have hidden information from him Which, as he stated it is all public record therefore I have no reason to hide any information from him Therefore, I based all answers specifically in response to their questions Nowhere on their application did it ask if there was any PENDING criminal history, only asked in regards to convictions, which I answered truthfully I also was upfront with the fact that I had not so perfect credit and that I lived in the residence next door As a property manager Mr Wilmoth should know that occupying a home that is managed by a property management company that a lease would be in placeI would not be released from my lease obligation by my spouse until I had obtained new residency as to ensure that I was not left on the street I simply feel that I was misled by Mr Wilmoth and encouraged to continue with the application process knowing that he did not intend to rent to me The reasons stated in the document emailed to me for denying me on the lease were the exact reasons I dscussed with him via email prior to completing the applicationI am very upset by the denial and the fact that the denial was based on information that I had already provided to him as he showed you in his documentatioin I simply would like a refund of the application fee and will be happy to close this case at that time Throughout this whole process it was almost impossible to get a timely response from Mr Wilmoth and I was forwarded and sent to different employees based on the day or time that I was trying to get ahold of them I was asked to schedule a showing online, which I did, I was asked to confirm this showing, which I did BUT, in order to get any type of response from him or his employee took over hours each time I started this inquiry about days before June 2nd, as that is when I wanted to move in But with the lack of urgency on Wilmoth Property Managements behalf I was unable to move forward Also, once I notified Mr Wilmoth that I would be opening this complaint I was what I feel threatened that if I chose to do so that it would speak to my character and he would not want to rent to me and would encourage others not to rent to me either "As the property management world is a tight knit community" So now did I not only lose a residence that I VERY much wanted to move into, I may have a harder time trying to seure a property because he would mention to others my claim? Again, I am simply asking that my $application fee be refunded as I was declined for reasons that I had already voiced my concerns aboutThank you for your time [redacted]

Upon application approval is it possible for me to pay $now and the other on June If that is OK I am ready to move forward with becoming a tenantPlease get back to me as soon as possible so I may complete the application online thank you for your time 5/20/response from Joel Wilmoth: We need a full security deposit before move inIt is due when the lease is signed Rent will be pro-rated to the attachedMs*** score was a The primary reason her score was so low is that she is still an obligor on the lease where she currently resides and is not being releasedThis was not disclosed in any communication and the obligation makes her available income for a new lease inadequate I actually kept in contact with applicant while waiting for a few items that came up on her screening in addition to the verification of her employerShe was declined on May 26, Her application was submitted May 21, This is a four business day turnaround for an application that includes screening for employment, rental history, credit and criminal backgroundThe attached letter of declination was sent to her on May 26thwith following message: Ms*** After a complete review of your application I am not going to be able to offer you an approval for the ** *** *** rentalBecause you did authorize a background screening, you are entitled to obtain a copy of the information obtained that was used to reach this disclose that she is involved in a pending criminal legal action that the screening revealedIt is public information that can easily be reviewed by searching *** *** case number ***While pending legal issues are not a part of our scorecard for approval, it does raise concerns regarding her personally and whether she will be able to remain employed in the near future In conclusion, I then attempted
