Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC Reviews (21)

Upon my initial visit, John let us know we qualified for an Offer In Compromise on multiple years of tax debt It was a large amount of money (at least for us anyway) made worse by huge penalties and interest For many years my wife and I called the I.R.S., set up installment agreements we couldn't afford, defaulted on these agreements, and repeated the process Over and over If you're reading this now, you probably know what I'm talking about John said it would take about a year (we're self employed, so our process is probably longer than a wemployee), that'd we have to get some paperwork together so they can verify income and assets, that it would cost x amount of dollars (which included the estimated settlement and their fees--which they'll break into installments), and that they were very optimistic of success They didn't guarantee anything thoughBeware of anyone who does One year later, we received our official acceptance letter Everything played out exactly as John (and Ken) said it would Our experience with them was extremely positive, and I would (and have) recommend them to anybody

After our initial analysis of this case we felt that the client qualified for an Offer in Compromise After further analysis, the client unfortunately did not qualifyWe provided a full refund to the clientWe are very sorry how this case turned out, and have instituted new procedures to avoid this issue in the futureThank you

In response to Complaint # *** Facts of Case: ** *** Retained Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC on February 1, and paid the firm $for an Investigation into her State and Federal Tax issues. The Federal Investigation uncovered that tax payer owed
balances with the Internal Revenue Service from years 2008, 2010, and that she was missing Tax Return filings from years 2012, 2013, and 2014. We were able to file her and tax returns by pulling her Wage & Income transcripts from the I.R.S. The other years that were being requested required additional information from the tax payer which delayed the filing process. After filing her Federal returns her liability increased. Furthermore, once we had the full Federal balance owed, we calculated a settlement to be submitted to the I.R.S in the form of an Offer in Compromise. Her total balance was a little over $8,000, and we were going to submit an Offer in Compromise for $2850, which would have saved the tax payer roughly $5,000. I presented this to the tax payer and she was very happy with that result regarding the liability owed and wanted to move forward with that programIn regards to the State of Colorado Investigation that was conducted. We conducted the Investigation with the State and they indicated that the tax payer did owe a balance. Colorado then explained to us that they were garnishing her pay check. I then requested a release of garnishment, and the State of Colorado explained to me that they would release the garnishment if we filed all of the tax payers missing tax returns. Therefore, we began to prepare all the missing taxes, however, during the filing process, we figured out that the tax payer has had different jobs in the past years. This obviously posed a problem with being able to get the records from all of these employers We began to request the information to begin preparing the tax returns, and that is where the miscommunication beganOn March 3, I reached out to the tax payer to see if she had any questions and to see how everything was coming alongShe replied with two very stern and aggressive emails. At that time I felt it was best to send the returns that we have prepared this far to the tax payer , and mail her a check for her $Investigation Retainer fee Her refund was mailed PRIOR to me receiving notice that she filed a complaint with the Revdex.comConclusion: We performed the services we were contracted to do. We could not stop the garnishment the week she called in due to us uncovering information that required us to file several years of missing tax returns in order to stop the garnishment. We began that process of collecting information to file the missing returns. On March 3, we received stern and aggressive emails, we emailed the tax payer the returns prepared thus far and sent full refund of the RetainerWork Product: Please let me know if I need to submit any documentation proving the hours and time worked on the case

We performed the Investigation into the clients case as contracted. We even did a State of North Carolina Investigation at no charge.  Once we reviewed the case we determined that they did not have an issue with the [redacted], and only had an issue with the State of North Carolina.  After our...

case review and analysis we determined that they do not qualify for an Offer in Compromise, and that they only qualified for an Installment Agreement.  We contacted the client, and the client indicated that he was going to set up his own State of North Carolina Installment Agreement. We spent the necessary time on the case for the Investigation, did a full case analysis, and fulfilled our part of the contract. However, a full refund of $500 will be issued to the client.

I highly recommend Attorneys Tax Relief, LLC to anyone that has a tax problem. Shortly after I connected with them I was diagnosed with Leukemia. They were very empathetic to my health concerns and assured me that they would take care of my situation. I had a very rough journey however, they were ab;e to get a great settlement for me and I didn't have to worry about anything else during my treatment. Very easy to get in touch with whenever I had a concern or a question. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that has a tax problem.

My experience with Attorneys Tax Relief was OUTSTANDING! I was as unsure about the process and as uncertain about my eligibility as anyone could be. Attorneys Tax Relief took the time necessary to walk me through the process step by step which allowed me to reduce my stress and develop a sense of confidence in my ability to pursue the process of offer in compromise and become optimistic about my financial future. I had been living a very tenuous and unpredictable financial life. Always uncertain as to whether or not I would have any money in my bank or checking account due to liens placed on me by the [redacted]. I could not plan for a successful financial future nor purchase anything of real value due to bad credit created by my tax situation. I saw no way out. I heard about Attorney's Tax Relief on the radio and decided it was worth a phone call. After that first conversation with Frank and Max I began see a ray of hope that- with their help- my financial future could become sound again. (After 17 years of stress and fear regarding by relationship with the [redacted]) Each time I had a question (and there were several) I either called, texted, or e-mailed Attorneys Tax Relief and they would immediately respond in a friendly and helpful manner, they would clearly and honestly answer my questions, assure me I wasn't too much of a bother, and encourage me to contact them any time I had another question or concern. John was also quite accessible to me and every detail of my application process went smoothly and with no judgement of the way I had run my financial life prior to my contacting Attorneys Tax Relief. I feel very confident in saying that Attorneys Tax Relief employs a great team of highly qualified people who are very focused on providing their clients with a comfortable, through, honest, and SUCCESSFUL experience. I offer my highest recommendation for them and will recommend Attorneys Tax Relief to any friend or family member who needs help in clearing up their relationship with the [redacted]. My experience COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER. Thank You very much- my entire family is grateful, and my children will be much better off.

Upon my initial visit, John let us know we qualified for an Offer In Compromise on multiple years of tax debt. It was a large amount of money (at least for us anyway) made worse by huge penalties and interest. For many years my wife and I called the I.R.S., set up installment agreements we couldn't afford, defaulted on these agreements, and repeated the process. Over and over. If you're reading this now, you probably know what I'm talking about.

John said it would take about a year (we're self employed, so our process is probably longer than a w2 employee), that'd we have to get some paperwork together so they can verify income and assets, that it would cost x amount of dollars (which included the estimated settlement and their fees--which they'll break into installments), and that they were very optimistic of success. They didn't guarantee anything though. Beware of anyone who does.

One year later, we received our official acceptance letter.

Everything played out exactly as John (and Ken) said it would. Our experience with them was extremely positive, and I would (and have) recommend them to anybody.
