*** *** We have decided to give Mr*** his money back and let him return the vehicle, we had it advertised at 7,for a cash buyer but he was a buyer with very poor credit. We explained to him there were a lot of fees from the finance company that agreed to give him a loan but he
did not take that into account when he was signing paperwork so we have decided to just let him return the vehicle. *** ***GM/Sales Manager

Customer did try and trade this atv but did not think we would inspect it before we took it on tradeUpon inspection we diagnosed it as having a blown motorNICE TRY MR CUSTOMER,but I am the bad guyWe he decided to leave there atv we told him we had just become a Yamaha dealer and we were still
waiting on manuals and special tools and it may be a while before we could work on itHe agreedIt took several months of talking back and forth with Yamaha to get them to cover this claimIt was declined several times and we fought very hard to get this claim approved as it was a customer fault issueTowards the end the customer was getting very disrespectful to the employeesit was not there for monthsIt was there for People are people and we tried very hard to get this covered for this customerHe states that it was only at the other dealership for minutes before it was diagnosed and fixedI cannot believe it took that longThe customer had the work order in his hands stating the fault, stating what needed repaired and replaced and what Yamaha was going to do for himAll work was done, motor was in pieces being put back togetherCustomer comes into the dealership with his father and starts demanding we give him his atv right nowWe asked if we could call Yamaha and make sure they would pay us for the time we had in it and he said you have no time to do anythingI want my atv right nowAt that point we said if we cannot call you will be required to pay the billHis dad then leaned across the counter and told a year old employee that if he had to pay this bill he had something in his truck that would end his lifeThe employee called his manager and the manager asked the customer to leave and pay his bill

I went in to trade a ATVThe atv stopped runningI asked if they could complete the work they said they couldThey could notBecause they did not own any toolsThat was the first lieThen I called to ask how the work was going after I did not hear form them for a monthThey said they tried to contact me to keep me updatedThat was the second lieI had no missed calls on my phone and a print out of my phone bill showed no calls from themThey also stated they were waiting to hear back from Yamaha, that was the third lie I later found out from Yamaha ATV's and more made no attempt to contact them about the workthe Fourth LieI then called them the following month and they stated they were waiting to hear back from Yamaha, mean time my conversation with Yamaha was ATV's and more made no attempt to contact them about the work the fifth Liethis went on for more monthsI made phone calls requesting to contact the owner of ATVs and moreI spoke with and requested this from both the sales staff and service staffI still have not heard from himThe store and the owner definitely owe me and my father a apologyThey claim in responses my dad threatened to end the service managers life that is a LIE if you know him you know he wouldn't make any threatsThe store was trying to take advantage of the situationThey wanted to trade for my ATV as a none runningIt over heated the day before I took it to atvs and moreall it needed was a head gasketI have a statement from a Yamaha certified mechanic stating thatYamaha paid for the repairsThe mechanic knew exactly what happened soon as he saw the parts said it happens all the time and Yamaha was very quick to repair themWhich Yamaha was once I took my atv to a reputable dealerATV's and more didn't even have the tools required to work on itSome shop no toolsThey did manage to get my atv apart, I guess they borrowed the tools to do that from one the employees working thereI should have took my atv to a mechanic I knew could do the work instead of going to ATV's and MoreI did think it was going to be a simple repair (which it was) and I would just have there shop fix it and save some running aroundATV's and more made did make the repairs worse by taking the atv too far apartLike I said all it needed was a head gasketthey dissembled it to the crankand because they left it apart for months and improperly stored the partsthe aluminum began to oxidize requiring more parts to be replaced than would have been had ATV's and More don the job rightYamaha acknowledged ATV's and more made the problems and were screwed up and paid the billI tend to think people are honestBut they were not and continue not to beThese people at ATV's and more will defiantly lie cheat and steal from any person who walks in there doorsRead all there customer reviews and responsesThe service department has had a few issues and are unwilling to make obviously much needed changes and in every review The customers state ATV's and More LIED what credibility should a company like that have? ATV's and more left the over flow for the coolant on frameThe mechanic a the dealer saw it was over full he said when you see that it is a head gasketThe piston pumps air into the cooling system threw the blown gasket and pushes the fluid into the reservoirI'd say ATV's and more knew this and were hoping to take advantage of the situation and trade for the atv as a blown motor and thin do the simple repair and sell it as a good quadEither that or there shop mechanics are total is and failed to do a simple compression test and fix the simplest thing firstBut heck like I said Yamaha acknowledges ATV's and more performed poor work and did not need to taken that far down and Yamaha said they would have paid the bill much sooner and fasterMy ATV was barley at the other dealer anytime at allfor the work they did and Yamaha paid in full No further contact by the business This dealer wants to lie about at threat of life in the responsethe only acceptable response should be a apology

Mr*** did buy this UTV from Atvs and More as stated in September and he did bring it back for an overheating issue that was fixed at no charge and he did bring it back at a later date for a broke beltThe third time Mr*** brought the machine in it was covered in mud and both sides of the
plastic were completely falling off, it looked like it had been upside down in a mud hole , we submitted the claim to RPMthe company that handles all extended warranties on used units sold here and they determined the motor was blown due to mud and water being ingested thru the air intake causing the motor to blowAt that point after the warranty company had decided not to cover Mr***'s motor so Atvs and More and InFlow stepped up and covered the entire repair, this was good will, a gift, we did not have to do anything but we didWhen the customer called and said the unit smelled like gas I told him to bring it in and we would be happy to take a look at it, when he said he didn't want it anymore I offered to help I'm sell itI don't know what else to do for Mr*** but I have already done more for him than I ever should have if he is going to be this way

We have to wait for the payment to clear, but they have received the title, it was mailed and in her hands on 6/

We prefer to not have any contact with this customer. The police was called and a complaint was made. There is also a restraining order against him and his father.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/03) */
This machine was sold with no warranty expressed or implied. All paperwork was signed AS-IS. The customer had the opportunity to inspect, drive and choose from hundreds of machines available in our store and chose this one. We did offer to get...

the customer any parts he wanted at a discounted price and discounted labor rates if he would want us to do any work on it. We do not do any welding here so if he needs something welded we could not help him with that.

I have spoken to this customer. He was over charged and I have refunded him a check in the amount of $645.
