To Whom It May Concern:
I typed the wrong day when I responded to the complaint. Ms*** called back the day after she purchased the car and the extended service contract, which was 03/13/2014. The terms, interest rate, and details of the contract was explained to Ms*** in the business office, at which time, she signed all the documents of her own free will. I have attached those documents again for your review
The Finance Manager faxed the cancelation notice to *** (the extended service company), on 03/13/2014. We did not hear anything else from Ms*** until she came back to the dealership around August and asked about the interest rate and extended warranty. Ms*** assumed that she would get $*** in cash for the warranty, however, *** Financial financed the entire amount, they have the lien on the Toyota Camry VIN ***, any payments or refunds will go to *** Financial and be applied to the principal of the loan. At the time of Ms***'s visit to Atwood, the Finance Manager called ***, while Ms*** was still at the dealership, *** stated that they did not receive the fax. At that time, the Finance Manager had Ms*** sign another cancelation form, he faxed it with her in the office and gave her a copy. The refund has been processed and should reach *** within 7-days
The Interest Rate is determined by the bank that approves the loan, not Atwood Chevrolet. Credit scores range from 399-850, Ms*** states that she has a score of ***, banks base the rates on a number of factors, including debt to income, score, payment to income, amount of open loans, year and mileage of vehicle.
1. The $*** for the Extended Service Contract will be sent to ***. It will be applied to the principal of the loan. After following up on the status of refund, it shows that it has been processed and should reach *** within 7-days.
2. Interest Rates are determined by the bank approving the loan, based on credit, lack of credit, and credit worthiness.
3. Truth and Lending was disclosed on MS Law Contract and signed by free will
4. *** Products Inc were offered to Ms*** and disclosed with her signature.

In response to this complaint, Atwood Chevrolet is bewildered. In years in the car business I have never had this type of complaint. We strive to make the customer happy with their purchase. We also provide a menu with all the options available, what the cost is without any extended service and cost with the different services available. We have the customer sign the option they prefer and the disclosure is also signed with the new amount they are financing with the options added. We do all this to ensure this type of complaint does not happen. All the contracts are prepared while the customer (Ms***) is in the F & I office not before.
The contract clearly shows where Ms***'s down payment was applied to her purchase. I have attached all these documents again. The documents show that Ms*** had a interest rate of ***%, she also accrued $*** in finance charges from Ally. On Ms***'s legal law contract, there is a complete break down of how down payments and add on products were applied, this part of the contract is called Itemization of amount financed. It states that Ms***'s cash price including tax is $***, minus $*** down payment, equals $***. Ms. *** then added Gap $***, $** Title Fee, $*** Document Fee, $***Vehicle Service Contract, $*** Tire and Wheel Warranty for a total of $***. All these things equal $*** ($*** plus $*** equals $***) Ms*** originally financed $*** with extended warranty, plus finance charges of $***, which totals $***. As you can see, the $*** down payment was applied. Finance charges come from the lending bank, not Atwood Chevrolet.
As requested Atwood Chevrolet has canceled all extended warranty contracts, totaling $***, which will be applied as payment on Ms***'s loan. In - business days this amount should be credited to her account. Atwood Chevrolet is tracking this transaction. We have clearly provided Ms*** with all the information she has requested time and time again. Obviously, Ms. *** does not understand that when you make a large purchase requiring financing, you have finance charges added to the amount. These things are out of our control
What can Atwood Chevrolet do to satisfy the Revdex.com and Ms***? We have provided all documents, answered her questions and complied with all laws regarding this transaction. We are appalled that these accusations of wrong doing have been made against us without merit.

I am rejecting this response because I cancel the add Extended Service Contract on 3/14/not 4/13/But they didn't cancel the Extended Service till I went back up there on8/14/They didn't cancel my service when I ask them toWhy it took them 5month to cancel Extended Service Contract I don't knowSomething is not add up

I am rejecting this response because First of all I never ask for the Extended Service Contract. Your Finance Manager said that I need it. Plus  my contract was already done When I walk into his office. One thing I will like is to redo my Contract.  Just started for the begin. $[redacted]-$[redacted]. Yes I sign the contract. Do that mean that I should forget about my money. That is very insult to me. My contract is not right bottom line. All the number don't add up. Plus to much money went out on the car already in 6 month . Like I said .$[redacted]+6month of payment on the car$[redacted]) still want  to give more money away$[redacted]=$[redacted]) Just  in 6month)In my balance will still be over $[redacted] on the car. No matter how you try to add up the number still don't justified were is my down payment. Somebody pocket my $[redacted].In they add the Service Contract .Remember I call back the next day to get the service charge off. But your Finance Manager never took it off. Still had enough time to redo my contract. On March 13 2014. ( Ally could had finance the whole car.$[redacted]-$[redacted] different .Why)Again you all can redo my contract. If not I will just take more legal action.

I am rejecting this response because still don't explain where is my down payment. Take look at this I call  [redacted] on 8/15/2014.The next day after I left Atwood. [redacted] statement that they never received  the fax. But Finance Manager told me and my sister that [redacted] didn't want to cancel the service. Something is wrong with that picture. If the Finance Manager know that  the service wasn't cancel .Why he didn't let me know. My problem is this. I came to Atwood to get a good reason car and a good price. Take at my look contract. The price of the car was $[redacted]. Before finance ok .I put an down payment of $[redacted]. Now my total is $[redacted].Then let go to the Finance Manager office. That is when I got my contract for the car .They had already  had my contract ready to go. I ask the Finance Manager why my car price went back up to$[redacted]. He said that I need the Extended Service Contract. I truth them. I told the Finance Manager that I will go home in look over my contract. He said that if I see anything wrong to call him back. So I did the next day. Atwood had enough time to change my paperwork. So again my total for the car was$[redacted] not included the [redacted]% of finance. So let add this up. $[redacted] down payment ( [redacted]  in car payment) so far I pay on this car is $[redacted]) So now Atwood want give [redacted] $[redacted]) So then the total I pay on this car will  be ($[redacted]).So u would think I should be almost finish pay for the car. You are so wrong. The balance on my car right now is $[redacted].So if [redacted] get the $[redacted]. The new balance  will be around $[redacted] on the car. Go back to want I already pay on the car. Don't add up. So [redacted] finance my car at $[redacted].They could had finance the car at the $[redacted] the different is$[redacted].So why did I need to put an down payment  for. I think somebody pocket my  $[redacted].So again where is my down payment.

Ms. [redacted], did purchase a 2006 Toyota Camry, VIN: [redacted], on 3/12/14.   At the time of purchase, Ms. [redacted] went into the Finance Office, where she was offered the option of purchasing extended warranty, gap, tire and...

wheel, etc.   Mr. [redacted] (F&I Manager), explained how all these things work and the cost.    Attached you will find the contract Ms. [redacted] signed along with the contract for the extended warranty and disclosures.  Each of these forms clearly state the price and financed amounts.  
On 4/13/14, Ms. [redacted] called Mr. [redacted] and wanted to cancel her extended warranty.   After talking to her, he faxed her the paperwork to sign and told her we would cancel it for her.  
Ms. [redacted] came back to the dealership about the extended warranty and her down payment.    [redacted] and [redacted] (Sales Manager) explained to Ms. [redacted] that the car was financed with [redacted], went over her contract again showing her where the down payment was applied.  The additional $[redacted] for her Extended Service Contract, would be subtracted from the amount she financed with [redacted].   Since the Camry and the extended service contract was all financed by [redacted], all reimbursements go to them.   Ms. [redacted]'s note would stay the same.

Atwood Chevrolet has responded to all the requests of Ms. [redacted] and the Revdex.com,   We have explained to Ms. [redacted] and provided signed legal documents to her, showing the contract, finance charges, where her down payment of $[redacted] was applied.   We have done everything I know to do.   Ms. [redacted] even sent back the same documents proving what we have told her time and time again.    Each time we provide a statement, Ms. [redacted] counters, asking for a different settlement.   This time she asks that her contract be re-done.   We cannot redo her contract.  She is contracted with [redacted] Bank, not Atwood Chevrolet.   As far as the extended service contracts, Ms. [redacted] was offered the benefit of a service contract and Ms. [redacted] chose to add it, and then changing her mind on 3/14/2014.  Also, no contract is printed in the Finance Office until the customer is in the office and agrees to terms and conditions, including warranties and any other products offered by Atwood Chevrolet.
Here are the figures once again for Ms. [redacted]:

Atwood Chevrolet has done all we can do and are within all legal guidelines.  The process we use is to protect Atwood Chevrolet, the Sales Manager and the Sales Staff.   The allegations made by Ms. [redacted] are without merit, therefore Atwood Chevrolet has exhausted all means of satisfying Ms. [redacted].
