Mr [redacted] failed to install a hardwood floor in my living room properly I had to hire another installer to repair and replace what Mr [redacted] failed to install correctly

I have been remodeling buildings for years and have never had any complaints I even did her neighbors' flooring and she says it's great She bought her own supplies for me to do the work for a floating floor which was on close-out and has proven to be defective My installation work is not the problem She should be asking from Lumber Liquidators for a refund for the defective flooring sold There has been nothing but problems with these types of floors I advised her about not putting in this type of flooring but she declined my opinion and requested that I do the floating floorI even did free plumbing labor work for her I refuse to reimburse her $ My work is not the problem - it is the materials and the type of flooring which she purchased and requested to be installed I hold an excellent reputation for my work and service in the community in which I work

I am rejecting this response because: I continue to state that the installation was poor and defective and have pictures to prove the defects in his installationOne example, when he completed his job he left one door that it could no longer be closed, one trim board on a step to my lower level cracked immediately and caused a potential danger of falling down the stairs. I started contacting him on December 23, with complaints on January 15, I ask him to bring me the piece of step trim he took and it took him till January 28, to bring the trim boardI have the whole conversations on my phone that I will transcribe to paper just in case I delete the messages in error. He did offer to repair but my this time I found him to be totally unreliable and didn't not want him back in my house If he felt the material was inferior he should have refused the job. The job to correct his misstates was done properly with the same material.
