In this example, Auburn Chevrolet ran a direct mail campaign Zip codes that are within Auburn Chevrolet’s address, were chosen to receive a “Direct Mail” advertisementOn the direct mail campaign, there is a clear on concise Consumer Disclosure that states: No purchase necessary to win Purchase does not increase odds of winningAlong with what the odds of each prize that can be claimed It is not Auburn Chevrolet’s intent to mislead any consumerThis is a form of advertisement. It would be to best interest to Auburn Chevrolet, if a customer did win a big or significant prize as it would help in form of advertising for the dealership

Auburn Chevrolet has done everything in our power to assist this customerThe customer was aware that the vehicle spent time in Canada before they purchased itIt is not against any Washington state laws for a car dealership to sell cars or trucks that were made or spent time in other countries
other then the USA
Since their purchase, and out of good faith, we have tried to trade into a new, used, and even offered to purchase the vehicle backThe customer said NO to each one of our offersThen the customer traded this vehicle into another dealership and then came back to us and started asking for money back Auburn Chevrolet, has done nothing wrong and will not be financially compensating this customer
If there is any more information that I may provide, such as a letter from our Attorney that has already handled this case, please let me know
Sincerely,
Doug B***

*** *** purchased a Chevrolet Suburban on Saturday, October 8th, from Auburn Chevrolet. Before purchasing, Ms*** selected this vehicle, test drove this vehicle, and entered into negotiations on this vehicle
Ms*** negotiated for almost two hours, making two
separate phone calls to her bank, USAA, before agreeing to the sale of the vehicle. USAA is a customer friendly credit union, employees of the dealership are not allowed to speak with USAA
USAA and Ms***, both agreed to the final purchase price $8,374, trade in value of $1,(payoff of Ms***’s trade in was $4,161.73, which also was financed with USAA)Part of the agreement to purchase the vehicle for Ms*** was for her mechanic to inspect the vehicleAfter taking the Suburban to her mechanic, Auburn Chevrolet was presented a bill for $85. Ms*** asked for the shop to be paid for the minor repairAuburn Chevrolet paid Ms***’s mechanic, and she said thank you. Per the “We Owe” form that was signed by both Auburn Chevrolet and Ms***, it clearly states that Auburn Chevrolet has the right to repair any item that the mechanic comes up with, and we completed the "We Owe"
Auburn Chevrolet has been in business for over years, we take pride in our customer service, and have an outstanding reputation in the local community
Please feel free to contact me with any questions
Sincerely,
Doug B***

Auburn Chevrolet followed the exact protocol in repairing this Chevrolet Impala. (See attached document)
Based on General Motors record, this vehicle has not been in for preventative maintenance since 1/30/
Auburn Chevrolet contacted General Motors in referenced vehicle, to
see if any other options were available regarding said vehicle"General Motors" answer was no. There is no way of claiming it was anyone's responsibility for a car that caught fire. Certainly not Auburn Chevrolet's fault just because the recall was completed there
I told them that I am sorry that this happened, but why don't you contact your insurance company to see if they will assistI was told by the customer "we don't need full coverage, it's a waste of money and we don't have any'I explained that in a situation like this, that is were Insurance companies assist outThis was the day after I was originally contacted
I was then contacted back again the next day, once again with multiple people on speaker phone, and I again acknowledge that Auburn Chevrolet was not liable for any wrong doingAt that point someone on the other end of the phone, (I believe Ms*** mom) called me an absolute*** and I asked niclely not to spoken like that. From there I excused myself from the conversation
Now Ms*** is asking for a $10,Toyota in return? They have a Chevrolet Impala the Kelley blue book has valued at $1,wholesale and $3,retail? I guess I am confused, since Auburn Chevrolet did nothing wrong in the first place

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because the contract was nullified on the 2nd and 5th business day as the contract is still in contingency and the vehicle was sold to me for more than advertised online, misrepresented, using deceptive practices I filed a complaint with the Attorney GeneralToday your dealership contacted me asking me to sign the Title Application which was never signed and now two of the employees involved in the deal are no longer with the companyI await your response to my Day Demand, sent today
Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Auburn Chevrolet can not answer a simple question that I have asked several times Who was the employee that offered to buy our GMC back?
You keep avoiding this question because you know you have no one to nameI have attached the two times that you offered only Ivan and Pavel did to help trade us into a brand new vehicle which as you can see attached no trade in value was reoffered for down payment we had originally put down and payments were completely over our range
I hope the public continues to see how unprofessional your dealership is at this point sirYou are lying over and over I have personal texts back and forth with Pavel I also had comments back and forth about Fred lying to customers on several occasions to make a deal or commission He is a risk to your business You do have many good people working there but one bad apple takes down the tree
I unfortunately have to keep spending my time and energy on this case back and forth I will continue to help the public know that the little people that don't matter to you will take a stand by something that was unprofessional and has harmed our family tremendously because your employee wanted a commission instead of have integrity
If if you would like the personal texts back and forth to be viewed by the public let me know? Or you can mail us back our lost down payment and this matter will be closed and final We are not ok with you pushing consumers around we have the right to stand up to youWe have so many business relationships with Auburn businesses as I am in the public eye as well I'm sure your E&O insurance would cover Fred's misrepresentation of our sale If you want to continue the back and forth I'm fine with it
Justice will ill happen for consumers and the news reportor is meeting with me next week to run a story on several people that this had happened to unfortunately as well as rust filled damaged vehicles from Canada and the mid west I have pictures from the vehicle up on the rack and all the interior that you added all new seats and carpet to cover it up Look at your purchase papers bringing that vehicle in for a low price It's ridiculas
Sincerely,*** ***-***

1) Multiple times that you were in our store we offered to buy back- buy back meaning call and get your payoff and send check to bank to payoff your loan take the car back.
2)Ivan and Pavel both had multiple conversations with you regarding your situation.
3)How we handle internal employee concerns is know one else's business.
4) A car you bought at another dealership, has nothing to do with Auburn Chevrolet.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
It doesn't matter whether my vehicle had it's maintenance performed by a Chevrolet dealer or my son who is an ASE Certified mechanic. We decided to let a Chevrolet dealership perform the recall since the parts would be free. Before the recall was performed I had a small slow oil leak from the manifold-nothing major. I had no problems with my vehicle until Auburn Chevrolet did the recall. The fire started out as smoke in the very front - which meant that there was oil still dripping on the manifold. Now if Auburn Chevrolet actually removed the manifold cover and replaced the front valve cover gasket correctly per the recall then there shouldn't have been any oil on the manifold to smoke. I'm no expert but the plastics was what also fueled the fire. I read an article that stated that GM Has had 1,345 vehicles catch fire after the recall had been done and that they were wanting the dealership to remove the plastics so the vehicle wouldn't have material to catch fire close to the manifold. I asked Jesse J[redacted] (KIRO TV customer troubleshooter) if recall work performed is guaranteed and he said yes it was. So why isn't Auburn Chevrolet guaranteeing their work and replacing my vehicle. I checked on the NADA value guide for my vehicle and included it's options and the clean full retain value was $4,500. I told Mr. Doug B[redacted] the terror of my car catching fire and the stress it caused me was worth another $500, for a total of $5,000.  Then on [redacted] CONSUMERS' site I made a comment that for every step further I had to go to get an adequate response from Auburn Chevrolet would cause the price to go up by $1k - my time is not free nor is the frustration Mr B[redacted] is causing.  All I know is I had a perfect running vehicle that was maintained by a certified mechanic and then Auburn Chevrolet worked on it and now it's destroyed, useless. I DO NOT ACCEPT MR> B[redacted] statement that his dealership is not at fault. After all, if a recall is suppose to be guaranteed then Auburn Chevrolet needs to replace my vehicle. I will hire a fire investigator and I will submit a report to the ATTORNEY GENERAL. The longer I have to go without a resolution the cost should go up. AND, I believe there is a current class action suit against GM for their recalls not fixing the problem.  I believe that the Revdex.com should adjust their grade since not only am I not satisfied but many others didn't accept their explanation either. Merely responding to a complaint shouldn't alleviate their responsibility nor should they get additional business as customers TRUST the A+ grade as representing a excellent company with trustworthy practices and employees.  Auburn Chevrolet DOES NOT fit within this description.  I've submitted a complaint to GMAC, as well as, the NHSTA that the current method of repairs with this recall are leaving many car owners with SAFETY ISSUES, hopefully there won't be a death caused by this type of issue for any human being.  After all what's a humans life worth. Apparently to Auburn Chevrolet not much not even $5,000.Sincerely,[redacted]

Auburn Chevrolet and Alysia [redacted] have a meeting set up at  9:30am on Thursday, November 17th

Doug B[redacted]

Sir/Ma'am,   I have recently filed a complaint against Auburn Chevrolet on Oct. 21 regarding my refund issue of my vehicle's service contract. I want to let you know that I received mail today with a check from Auburn Chevrolet dated Oct. 17, 2017 and was mailed on Oct. 19, 2017. Auburn...

Chevrolet did process my request, but was late in arriving through the mail which had caused me to submit my complaint on October 21 because I was expecting the refund since October 15.   Very Respectfully, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The dealer has replied with false statements that are untrue.  Auburn Chevrolet has never offered to buy us out of our  GMC or we would not be here today.  All my husband and I wanted was to be heard and share that they have a employee not telling the truth that works on their behalf.  Due to his false dealings we are now financially harmed and all we wanted was a safe newer Black SUV for our family. I have the original letter that was  dropped off and certified to the dealer from me personally before jumping to any formal complaints & they never replied in writing at all or even placed a call to talk about our dealings with them.  I am a very fair person and would be more than happy to show dates/deal sheets that Ivan & Pavel (other employees that dealt with us) & tried to put us into a brand new vehicle with $900 a month payments that we could not afford and only buying our car back for the payoff less the warranty refund.  NONE of the $8000 invested or the monies spent on upgrades would be accounted for. The dealer General Manager Mr. B[redacted] is not being truthful we were nobody to him due to his lack of response. As a business owner myself I would take any complaints that my customers may have serious and would try to work things out and find a win/win personally. The only reason why we got a written response from their attorney was because he had to hire an attorney for a fee to send out a letter on our behalf to get a response.  The letter said we were told and that they are not at fault.  All we want is our money lost due to their untruthful salesman Fred putting us into  this bad situation.  We have pictures of the vehicle, deal sheets and timelines as needed of calls & visits to the dealership.  I would like to get this matter handled soon so we can all move on from this matter. I would like to share that Auburn Chevrolet worked with us under circumstances and made things right if Mr. B[redacted] would like a sit down meeting with my husband, Fred, Ivan & Pavel to get to the bottom of this and resolved.  I do not want other consumers to have this horrible experience.  My technical suggestion would be to avoid this in the future would be to have proof of what was disclosed or not disclosed.  If the dealer provided the entire car fax & not a short version then have the buyer sign it and add it to their business file & the consumers purchase paperwork. (Then no questions or complaints would have happened due to circumstance.)  WE were lied to about our questions asked about the vehicle from Fred and they need to take responsibility for their employee mis handling our purchase.

Sincerely,[redacted]

In this example, Auburn Chevrolet ran a direct mail campaign.  Zip codes that are within Auburn Chevrolet’s address, were chosen to receive a “Direct Mail” advertisement. On the direct mail campaign, there is a clear on concise Consumer Disclosure that states: No purchase necessary to win....

Purchase does not increase odds of winning. Along with what the odds of each prize that can be claimed.  It is not Auburn Chevrolet’s intent to mislead any consumer. This is a form of advertisement. It would be to best interest to Auburn Chevrolet, if a customer did win a big or significant prize as it would help in form of advertising for the dealership.

Customer just left our dealership. The customer and dealership have agreed to a resolution. Part of the resolution, is that the [redacted] family no longer will contact the Revdex.com, or Attorney General regarding there claim.
Thank you.
