Review: I made a reservation over the phone.I made the reservation for my cousin's wedding which was on friday May 30 2014. When I called to make this reservation I asked a few questions when I gave [redacted] the information he needed to complete my reservattion,when it came time to give [redacted] the guy who I was talking with and who was processing my reservation my credit card info I asked him would anything be charged.He told me nothing would be charged to my account until it was time to check out.I kept asking him would they he said no that the card was just to hold the room. He did not tell me that the hotel its self has the right to use card to hold or do a pendenig transaction to the room in the amount of the price of room. On Thursday during the day before I left to drive 2 hours away for wedding I went to the bank to get money for gas. I was told by bank attendent that my account was over withdrawn 50 dollars due to the fact that [redacted] put a hold on account for the price of the room. I did not have all the money in the account to cover. This is why I asked at time of reservation because I knew I did not get paid until friday which the money would have been there at the time of check out. Iv aslo was told that I would be assest a 35 over withdrew fee. After hearing I called the hotel at the bank I lefted the manager a message. I drove up there also at check in I asked again for the manager I was told she worked at 11pm that night of thursday the 29th I also left a note with the clerk. I tried to stay up and did but was tired and did not feel like dealing with it that night. I woke up early before she the manager got off work. When I came to the counter I was greeted with attitude like she already knew but stated she did not get my message or the note I left I told her what happen to my account the acted like oh well too bad I told her about the 35 dollar fee she told me my bank would'nt charge me I told her they had already said I would she acted like I was lying I told her I would call theDesired Settlement: she was very very rude to me and my bank customer rep who tried to tell her how she could help me. I want a refund for the whole price of hotel room of 140.39 as she did not try to work with me I asked for the 35 dollars to be taken off for the over withdrew fee she didnt want to nor did she do anything my bank customer rep asked her too. she said it was because I didnt have another form of payment. I was not trying to loose 50 from my paycheck because I was told the wrong info. I want a refund.
