In response to the above captioned complaint, Mr [redacted] did participate in an auction. He claims there were only 5 participants in this auction. Actually there were more than 5 participants but others came and went during the course of the auction over the course of the entire...

day's two sessions.  Mr [redacted] is correct that he bought on over $20,000 worth of merchandise and gave a $1500 deposit to assure that he would follow through with is purchases as agreed in the registration form he signed when he registered for the auction. His claim that everyone in attendance was "an actor" and that he was the only legitimate buyer is both unsubstantiated and absurd. His paranoid buyer's remorse is common in the auction industry. People buy more than they can afford or realize they spent more than they intended and look for excuses to renege on their purchases.
Mr [redacted] went to the local police who found his claims unsubstantiated and refused to proceed. He claims an "Actor" confessed to him that Mr [redacted] was the only legitimate buyer. But that the "actor" "didn't want to be identified" But he never produced anything to substantiate this claim.
He had called me and said he had a written statement from this "actor" but in reality he had no such document, nor could he since neither existed.
He was not forced or coerced in any way to bid on any item at the auction. In reality what happened is he experienced buyer remorse and was looking for someone to blame other than himself.
Now to induce us to refund his money though threats and name calling, he is trying to intimidate us into refunding his deposit which we clearly explained at the outset and in the paperwork he signed, was NON-REFUNDABLE and in fact there was a 50% penalty for unpaid for merchandise.
