We do not knowingly sell vehicles with bad engines Vehicle must have a had a failure within the timeframe that the customer purchased the vehicle Customer also showed us Repair orders from a BMW store documenting that she declined work that the BMW store recommended prior to the mechanical failure occurring Customer can cancel her 3rd party extended warranty purchase and receive a prorated refund if they so choose
This business response was received by Revdex.com via email.***The customer has a copy of everything she signed from us She purchased the vehicle in September of She drove the car for months with no issue Now there is an issue and she claims we sold her a car that had a bad engine Bad engines do not last for over months, especially those with metal shavings in the oil. While I understand the customer is upset, we did not intentionally sell a vehicle with a bad engine. Not sure what else we can do.Thanks for the follow up. Greg F

I have evidence from BMW that shows this vehicle was being diagnosed for engine trouble prior to the sale The dealer has admitted that they changed the oil while the vehicle was in their care, and BMW has told me that they used the wrong oil filter on the car The same BMW dealer that the Audi dealer is citing The *** *** dealer wanted me to pay for $worth of work that was unnecessary Their diagnosis for what was wrong with the vehicle was obviously wrong, they said the car needed spark plugs and coils when the truth is the engine is destroying itself Anyone that changed the oil on this car would have seen the metal shavings in the oil Audi put this car on the lot knowing full well the engine needed replacing
