We went out to customer Lops home on March *** and ordered Damper control to solve issue with her GE refrigerator temp going up and downWe gave her estimate of $plus tax which includes service charge, parts and laborMy technician returned 3/** when part came inMy technician said
part was covered in Styrofoam and he had to tape Styrofoam box in order to get to partHe said he hadn’t seen anything like that before and thought this was a manufacturer defectHe never taped the actual part? She did continue to have problems with temp thereafter and he went back out twice and made adjustments thereI spoke with customer 4/** and told her my tech thought she may need Board and sensor eventually and we would charge her minimal amt for parts cost onlyShe stated that GE had been out and told her she needed dampers and a sensorI told her that if damper needed again she shouldn’t have to pay GE for that part because it was under warranty with them for daysI also gave her the part# so she could have it for her recordsShe said they were returning on Saturday, April *** with partsShe said GE said we installed part incorrectlyI told her I wanted to see receipt from GE stating all this and we would discuss a refund afterShe never called back or produced a receipt to usHow do we know they were ever out or that they solved her issueA few days after speaking to her on 4/** we received complaint made to Revdex.comShe didn’t even give us a chance to resolve issue or give a refund accordinglyI called customer after receiving letter and left message for her to call us backThen on 4/** I spoke to her partner who was very nasty to me and she stated she had stopped her payment by credit card and she wouldn’t listen to anything I had to sayWe were willing to offer refund and wanted proof of GE coming out and doing repair along with their diagnosisWe are a family business and customer satisfaction means a lot to usWe had no problem in wanting to help her further and we would’ve resolved any mishaps she had with our companyThe customer states she will pay service charge fee only which is $plus tax for coming outShe wants all other fees refunded to her and won’t communicate with us nowThis is unfortunate for both of us that she has taken this routeWe want the customer to be happy, and to know that we never refused refund and wanted to make it rightThanks, Donna
