Review: I was told by [redacted] of Car Masters, Lemon Grove, CA, that the store was really slow on business that day that he could complete any work I needed on my [redacted] truck that same at a low price. The scope of the work included tinting my driver and passenger windows darker, installing "high End" two subwoofer speakers, an amplifier and new stereo/cd player, as well as a Light Bar that gets mounted across the top of the windshield. That work would be completed before the close of business.

When I returned approximately at 630 pm. My vehicle was parked in front of the store. I noticed the light bar was not installed, my windows had the incorrect tint installed, and the stereo system did not sound loud and clear as [redacted] said it would be. When I asked [redacted] what was going on. he stated that I would have to come back to have my light bar installed, that he did not have the brackets available to mount the light. when I asked about the wrong window tint placed on my windows, he stated "oh I messed up, I told the window tint guy the wrong tint, but we'll fix that whenever you come back to have the light bar mounted" and when I confronted him about the low end quality stereo products installed he stated "don't worry when you come back we're going to make it right.

Friday, 5/1/2015 I went back to have the upgrades done, windows properly tinted, and light bar mounted. I was told to wait 20 minutes, 1 1/2 hours went by then [redacted] showed up, he did not have the mounting brackets. I asked why do they keep telling me one thing and not owning up to the promises. [redacted], told me to get out of the store that he wasn't going to do any work, give me my light or money back. Lwmon Grove [redacted], came out to the dispute and made an incident report #[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for not receiving the quality or products, for having the wrong tint installed on my truck and for not having a light bar installed on my truck when I was told it would be. I was humiliated by [redacted] in public do not want to do business with a company that has an employee who is allowed to do so. I did my part, I gave you my money for a service and enough time, I should not have to pay for it and be mistreated the way I was today.

Review: Dear Revdex.com,I have a complaint about the business name Audio Masters located in Lemon Grove, CA. I have paid for installation of services to install head lights into my vehicle and they have lost a piece that covers my headlight bulbs. The sales person that I had to deal with was the most rude person trying to cover up for his worker.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to buy the missing part for my vehicle or at least give me a refund so I can purchase it.

Review: I had all my own stereo equipment installed including a Sony deck,CD changer, 10" speaker & box into a Chevy Astro Van today 7-23-2014.The price quote was for $100 which I agreed on. The staff was very rude & unprofessional & demanded to be paid first before any work was done. I payed anyways & that was a big mistake. After they were done in two hours [redacted] the manager gave me back my keys & didn't say anything. As I got into the Van it was a mess, the deck wasn't even bolted in just floating in the hole, the dashboard was cracked, the wires to the speaker box were just tangled all around the bottom of the box & the 4 screws that hold on the CD changer that I installed the night before 2 of them were just laying on the ground. I brought a plastic container to hold all of the equipment to their shop & it was just dumped over with everything scattered around the back of the Van. Not a professional audio installation what so ever. I had a appointment that I had to be at & didn't have time to complain to [redacted] about the rudeness & low quality work. After reading some reviews on Yelp about Audio Masters I'm definitely not the only unsatisfied customer & I could of wrote my own bad review but that's just not good enough & this shop should/would never be with the Revdex.comRevdex.comDesired Settlement: I'm not going back there to have them fix anything & I'm really upset about the crack in my dashboard & the low quality work. My desired outcome would be to see this shop out of business. Very rude staff & I shouldn't of paid them anything

Review: I went to the store based off of a craigslist advertisement for a cd player ($29) and all windows tint for ($89) and even after calling in to confirm that price, I was told that it would take only 2 hours max to install both items. Well three hours later, I was asked to come back another day leaving my window tint job half complete due the tech supposedly having somewhere he had to be. The CD player ended up NOT being a cd player only a radio with aux and USB inputs to hook up your cell phone. They charged me 181 and they ripped me off so bad. They misrepresented both the product and the service.Desired Settlement: They should refund me.

Review: I came to this place I had an agreement for them to fix my radio when they finish they did not do it the way we agreed to it then they charge me $240 and also they said after that you have to do differently and then it cost memore money to do that I told them you told me this week is going to work and now you changing your plan so you can make more money this year will give you good deal the part that you need to cost 150 only for you on me so I said okay go ahead and order it I give them a deposit of $70 they said come back tomorrow it will be ready when I called the second day they say it is not reading the shipment did not come yet come back the next day so I can back today which is the next day they said the order was more than what we told you I told them you told me $150 I can pay more than that he said I can do it for you on that price I told him we had an agreement to give me a receipt he said I don't care whenever you have a problem or whoever told you that you can go after him the guy who told me that works for for them I told them it's okay I'll pay the 220 that you attended me. After they start doing it he called me again you said man some of your functions it's not going to work properly with the order that we meet I said is that my problem or your problem is it no you have to buy another part to make this things work I said you know I can pay more than this right now I paid $460 and I'm not going to pay more than this he said if you don't want to pay The radio it's not going to function properly it's up to you so the whole thing was lie after lie when I told him was responsible he told me a guy name that works for them is name is Peter and I disappoint my functions on the radio properly is not working and I had to pay all that money for no reason.

Review: On 04/18/14 I took my Toyota Camry 2013 to get its windows tinted. I tinted all 5 windows, being told that there is a lifetime warranty on the job. On 10/15/14 I took my car back since the back window film had developed air bubbles after some intense heat in the region. They made me pay $60 for the removal of the film, I paid even though it was under warranty and the window was fixed. Now, 10/12/15 I called the business to report air bubbles on my back window again past intense heat. I brought the car in on Friday 10/16/15 to get my window repaired, I showed them how the film seems to be shrinking. [redacted] told me to come back on Tuesday 10/20/15 to get it fixed, since they were pretty busy that day. Tuesday 10/20/15 I brought my car in as convened only to come in and have Sammy tell me that [redacted] was not in the shop and the job could not get done. Sammy said [redacted] called me to let me know, I showed my phone records to him-I did not receive a call whatsoever. They told me they would call me back and have not called back since. They also said I should check back in an hour, but the job could not be done unless [redacted] was there. A total waste of my time and very disrespectful way of treating a costumer. I said I took off early from work and had to find childcare in order for me to be there. The business has not made an effort to contact me and have this issue resolved. I need your advice.Desired Settlement: I'd like to either have Audio Masters Fix my window tint with a quality material that for sure will not shrink or I'd like to get my money back so I can go to a different tinting company, have the film removed and install a new film. The least opportunities for me to see them again the better.

Review: On July 2nd 2015 my daughter [redacted] took her car in to have 2 windows fixed. they are electric windows and they weren't rolling down. After waiting until after 9pm (the place closes at 8) they are done with the car and only one window is fixed. the side mirror has a paneling broken off which the guy said he broke it and left it at that. the back window is now stuck and doesn't go down. there wasn't anything wrong with the window to begin with. when she mentioned all this they said there was nothing wrong with the window and that they fixed both of the windows she needed fix. She showed them that they didn't work and they lied to her face by insisting that they worked. razor blades were found in the back seat her pocket knife she uses for work was thrown under her seat. she doesn't even know why they had that. they refused to give her her keys until she paid them more money.Desired Settlement: She would like a refund of all monies paid and reimbursement for the broken mirror and the broken rear window that no longer rolls down.

Review: I set an appt. dec 17th to have headlights and tailights on my sons honda tinted. I paid $60 down. I took the car back dec 20th. I asked them to check the alarm, the doors did not lock. they said the car would be done in 3 or 4 hours. I was called an hour later and told the alarm was to old. I told them to replace it, $110. we were called at 7:45 pm and went to pick up the car. they told me the doors did not lock because of door accuator, but still charged me. it was dark and we could not really see tint ,but they said it was still not dry yet( really after 10 hours). the next day we could see the tint was not what we asked for , way to dark. the lights were next to invisiable. my son went back and was told they could re-do it for another $200 dollars or brighter bulbs for $90. we agreed on a smoked tint they showed us in the "show room" .so now the alarm isn't right and niether is the tint. and i'm out $310, good thing they didn't charge me tax. my wife went on [redacted] and found there are alot of mad poeple at this place. I don't think they should get away like this. I have no names but there is a balding man with a pony tail who seems to call the shots.Desired Settlement: I had to get new headlight and tailihgt housings to replace the ones they messd up,which I do still have to varify my complaint. I will be chaging the door accuator and the housings. acctuaor $30 and housings $200. plus my time. this place seems untouchable but i'd like somthing like $300.
