[redacted] purchased her Hyundai from Bronx Honda and complained about some noises that she was hearing from her newly purchased vehicle Her sales associate [redacted] instructed her to bring in her vehicle to our service department! [redacted] brought in her vehicle and the mechanical problem was identified by our technician as a faulty spindle and barring and the part was ordered from the manufacturerThe part was on back order so we informed the customer that it would take upto Saturday which was days past from when she first brought in her vehicle to our sevice department with the problem The customer got very complacent and began to scream and curse at members of our staff who were only attempting to help I [redacted] then spoke to her to calm her down and offered her a loner vehicle from our fleet so she would not be inconvenienced without a vehicle Her vehicle was ready by Saturday and we even gased an d re-cleaned it for her due to any inconveniences that it caused her and she had left happy [redacted] then came in stating that she wanted new tires because her private mechanic informed her that she needed them....after speaking to the service manager who informed us that the tires were upto standards to pass [redacted] state inspection the service mananger rotated her tires for her this morning and left happy again [redacted] ( service manager) explained to her that these were wear items and if they pass [redacted] Inspection then we do not replace them with new parts
At this time, I have not been contacted directly by Bronx Honda regarding complaint ID [redacted] , however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I contacted Honda Corporate, they have noted the complaintHowever, they state it is at the discretion of the dealership to honor Extended Maintenance Contracts, However, Per Yonkers Honda, such policy is against Corporate policyHonda Corpdoes not differentiate, thus a no action policy in regard to this complaint, Corprefused to offer contact to the legal deptor legal spokesman, the Honda CorpRepresentative refused to give his full name other than his first name of EricHowever should the vehicle require maintenance, I will inquire with Bronx Honda, if they deny that an Extended Service Contract is viable, then I will file a different complaint or legal actionHowever, the receipt for for such contract does not mention extended Maintenance for this vehicleBronx Honda could charge anything they determine needs repair or replacement since their receipt states it will void prior warranty of vehicle Only option is to avoid Bronx Honda.Thank you In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***
