The reference boiler was shipped in 2000. The gas valve which was stated as being installed three weeks ago, may be returned through contractor and distribution. We will issue Distributor credit and in turn the homeowner should receive credit or refund for replacement valve. The boiler has been installed for over 17 years, but as goodwill we will issue a $200.00 goodwill reimbursement to homeowner for the cost to replace (labor) of the gas valve which is claimed to have been only installed three weeks. To receive this goodwill reimbursement we will need a copy of the replacement invoice and the claimed defective gas valve returned to us through the distributor using the return material process. This $200.00 goodwill exceeds warranty has labor reimbursement is not part of written warranty. Copy of the replacement invoice may be sent to U.S. Boiler Company, Attn: Annette K[redacted], P.O.
