to the water in his trunk or the loose groundWe replaced the ground screw but the amp still did not work, probably because it was still dampHe did tell us he had a water issue in his trunk and he fixed itWith the amp not working, we sold him a new amp for he then had sound againAfter a couple of days the old amps he had dried out and were able to work, which was lucky for him because once electronics are exposed to a lot of moisture, they don't always workI then told him to bring the new amp back with receipt and box so that we could refund his moneyHe said that he no longer had the receipt.I explain how our retail program works and that it will not except a return without the receiptHe immediately started threatening to bring a lawyer next time he came in and my salesman said that would be okLater that evening I get a call from the business next to ours and the saleswoman said that he came in complaining that we ripped him off and he would have me arrested the next dayhe never came in with a lawyer or police, so I called him to ask why he was be so irrational and he said because he found that same amp online for $less then what he paid in our storeI explained to him that online shopping is always cheaper and again he could get a full return with receipt and buy the cheaper ampThat seem to make him more angry, which is when the threats of "taking us down on social media" facebook, etcstarted. I told him that is his right but educated people are very aware that no store will refund money without a receiptHe then went on another rant about how he will have people call me SCAM instead of my real name SamHe has called several time to harass me and threaten meI tried my best to smooth thing over but the man talk over others and will not listen to any logicThe amp was $and I gave him a $discount because of the loose screw from the ground wireI told him that ground wire do come loose often in old cars such as his park avedue to the rattling and moistureI do have video and recordings of me telling him that I would give him a refund and of him threatening and talking over me and my salesmanThank you and have a great dayIf you have any questions, call***

Review: I bought an amplifier from audiophonics in indiana.pa/because they said the one I was using was broken/so I bought an amplifier for 219.00 dollars/took the one to another place which has a tester for amplifiers/turned out there was nothing wrong with my other amp/plus the amp she sold me was actually 100.00 less /she lied when she said the amp was no good/just to get me to buy one from her/my install date was 10/5/15 I also had another amp that was tested also the same day which was the 16th of oct 16 it was also good/which she said was no good either/so on the 16th of oct I called to let the the saleslady which her name is sam/that the amp is good /the only way I she was going to give me my money back and reinstall the other amp was with this so called special receipt the I could not find in my car after my girlfrind and I cleaned the inside of my car/without this special customer id receipt she wouldnt give my money back/she knew I bought it there/know I have to have a special customer receipt/i believe I have been ripped of my AUDIOPHONICS/INDIANA.PA LADIES NAME IS SAMDesired Settlement: I BELIEVE I HAVE BEEN MISLEAD AND I HAVE PROOF I HAVE BEEN MISLEAD/FROM ANOTHER BUSINESS THAT TESTED BOTH OF MY AMPS AND THEY BOTH WORKED/AND SAD THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN MISLEAD BY THIS BUSINESS HER HUSBAND ALSO RIPPED ME OFF YEARS AGO FOR A CAR STARTER /I FEEL THEY SHOULD GIVE ME A REFUND FOR LYING TO ME ABOUT MY BLOWN AMPS JUST TO GET MY BUSINESS

Review: My husband purchased me the remote car starter with locks on 11/11/2009 for my 2009 4Runner. The back of the Audio Phonics Receipt states: "Labor warranty is for lifetime of original purchaser in original vehicle." Had problems with both remotes not working; replaced batteries; both remotes would then work off and on. Took remotes to Audio Phonics with my receipt. I explained the problem & the woman (owner?) started to open the first remote that worked. She immediately said the remotes will have to be reprogrammed by getting back under your vehicle to the starter. It will be $25 an hour for labor & you'll have to schedule an appointment. We are just so busy it will be at least 1 months." I said I just dont have flippin' time to schedule an appointment. I asked "Can't it be done through the remote?" Her sarcastic answer was, "Didn't you read your manual?" (Yes I read the manual -- it is for the installer not the end user. There isn't even a picture of the remote.) I asked her "Why then are you opening the remotes?" She said "This is the first thing we have to do is look for corrosion. As she finished looking at the first remote & said there was nothing wrong with it, she opened the 2nd remote. As I read my original receipt again, I asked "Why would I have to pay for labor when my receipt clearly states the labor warranty is for a lifetime?" She sarcastically answered, "It's not for the remotes." At that point I stated, "the whole time Ive been here, you have been a smarty pants with your answers & I dont appreciate it." She looked up, slammed the open remote down and shoved it at me & said, "Get out & never come into my store again." I said "at least put my remote back together & she shoved it back at me again & told me to "Get Out." So I left with my opened remote. A remote car starter can only work with a remote. Otherwise, the starter serves no purpose. My remote(s) were not damaged. My vehicle had not been in for repairs & the vehicle battery had not been touched.Desired Settlement: Being that she said I am not permitted back in her store and I do honestly believe that if they did do any work to my vehicle, it would be sabotaged, I would like to have 1/4 of my purchase price refunded or $67.57. I now have to be inconvenienced and take it to another installer for servicing.

Review: This business is absolutely appalling. I regret that I ever made a purchase or paid for any services that this establishment has provided. Customer service is a term that does not exist in the vocabulary of anyone associated with this business. Please allow me to explain the reasoning for such claims noting the fact that the space provided will only allow for a brief explanation. For one, the store owner is incredibly unprofessional in regards to both customer and employee relations. The first thing that caught my attention was the frequent use of expletives in front of customers. Second, failure to provide products/services according to agreed upon schedule and pricing. Third and most unnerving was the outright defamation of character and public humiliation I was subjected to when I brought to the store owners attention her unprofessionalism. I was verbally abused and harassed by the woman who runs this store when I approached her and explained that I refused to pay any more than the agreed upon price for a service that had already been complicated due to mistakes made by her employees. Before I even had the chance to explain my story she began yelling expletives and derogatory statements towards me. A very verbal disagreement entailed as she raised her voice multiple times and said "I can call you anything I want, I own this store!" She demanded that I leave the store or she would call the police. I asked that the product her technician installed be removed so that I would not have to pay anything as I would rather take my business elsewhere, however I ended up paying for the product and leaving. If it were not for the fact that I would have faced criminal charges for theft had I left without paying I would not have paid this so-called business a single cent. I submit this complaint in all honesty and with no malicious intent besides the very fact that I wish to expose this business and its employees to the public so that they can stay very far away.Desired Settlement: Formal apology for the verbal abuse/harassment I was subjected to. Quite frankly I would like all of my money back but they should not have to pay for the mistake on my part of choosing them as a place to give my business.

Review: The complaint is about the installation of a new Sirius XM satellite radio receiver in my 2006 Nissan Altima. During my time at Audio Phonics, my car was unable to be started after the installation was complete. The technician tried for 2 hours to solve the problem while I waited for my car. Eventually I had to call my husband to come and get me. My car stayed in their garage overnight. They would not do anything more at that time. The next day my husband talked to the owner who refused to accept responsibility for the car not starting. She would not offer to help pay to tow it to a nearby Nissan garage. She was very rude and unsympathetic about the car. She was extremely negative and uninterested in helping solve the problem that they created with the poor installation. When she was told that we were going to report her business to the Revdex.com, she said she did not care. She took no responsibility and tried to blame me and my car for the issues. During the installation the technician did something to my car so that it would not start. In the course of installation my dashboard was damaged, my trunk release button stopped working, and when they finally got the car started (they did not tell us how they got it started) after I drove it home the check engine light came on. The dashboard was not put back in properly. It is not flush with the rest of the dashboard. The passenger side vent will not open or close and the technician damaged a portion of the dashboard.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the $80.00 installation cost and the cost to repair the damage to the dashboard and to fix the issue with the trunk release switch. I also want an apology of the wrong doing during the installation.
