I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to
complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my
complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear
below. This
businessman quoted me a price of $35 to diagnose the repair job on the
tape deck and additional for any parts and labor to repair. That is at
least 40% of the value of the item. I cannot afford it. I want him to repair it for free. Regards, [redacted] It has been 9 days. There is still no resolution. The merchant has Not agreed to repair for free. Please pursue. Revdex.com received the following clarification from the customer: No, I won’t deal with him directly again. I will chalk this up to a loss. I will get it repaired elsewhere someday. He changes his story. He’s a shifty individual.

Revdex.com spoke to business and the following was relayed: The customer purchased a cassette deck and a microphone, she stated she was going to record noises from the place she resides. The customer returned saying she couldn't use for the original reason she purchased it. I offered her a store credit or...

she could keep the cassette deck and she chose to keep the cassette deck.  Later on she did call about an issue with the deck, I offered to look at it and repair. I do not recall quoting her a price to look at the deck, I usually take care of any products I sell. I am willing to repair the item for the customer.
