Audio Specialists messed up the antennas on my back glass when removing tint When I confronted the owner about it, he got hateful and hung up on meIn the spring of 2015, I used Audio Specialists to tint my windows on my BMW 535i that I had just purchased When I went to pick it up, I noticed that there were lots of tiny air bubbles on my windowsI was assured by the employees that they would go away within a week or two Well after two weeks, they had not gone away so I took my car back and they agreed that the tint looked awful and needed to be redoneSo without charge, Audio Specialists tinted my windows againHowever, I was in the same boat two weeks later as I still had lots of air bubbles all over my windows So this time when I took my car back to them, they admitted that they did not have a very reliable employee tinting windows so they were just going to strip the tint off my car and refund my money so that I could go somewhere else that actually knew what they were doingI was completely fine with that because by this time I was losing faith in what Audio Specialists could actually doI picked up my car later on that day and when I went to get in it, I noticed that the car didn't automatically unlock when I put my hand on the door handle nor did I start with the keys in my pocket (the car has the comfort access feature)I had to actually insert the key fob into the ignition I knew something wasn't right but before I started accusing Audio Specialists of anything, I bought a new battery for the key fob and even tried using my spare oneNone of this worked so I then took my car to my trusted mechanic and within a few minutes he was able to detect where the antenna lines on the back glass had been scrapped which was the result of Audio Specialists removing the tintI then drove back to Audio Specialists to inform them of the damages that they had caused and they of course tried to deny it along with also denying that they had used a razor blade to remove some of the tint even though I found a razor blade that they had used in my trunk! The best part of this though is when one of the employees openly admitted to the comfort access feature working just fine when they had drove the car back around their building into the garage to work on yet it failed to work when they got done with removing the tintI quickly realized that the only way I was going to get this resolved was by talking to the owner (Rob Bess)Rob called me later that day and was more concerned about me coming into his store accusing his employees of wrongdoing than he was about asking what the issue was with my car In fact not once did he ask what had happened or how they could make this right with me or even a simple apology for all the times his employees failed to put tint on my car correctly I had never dealt with anyone so unprofessional in my life and I deal with a lot of people as my job involves customer service on a daily basis Who would want to do business with someone that is not willing to make it right when something goes wrong?! It has almost been a year since this incident and I still feel just as fired up about it as I did when it first happened just because I am 110% sure that Audio Specialists should have paid to have my back glass replaced which by the way cost around $1,with parts and laborAt the end of the day, I ended up being the bigger man and just paying it since Rob only response to me on the phone was, "You will need to speak to my lawyer." That is what I would call the coward's way of resolving a customer's complaint Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that appreciates their customers rather than a place that is going to run away when a problem arises

Audio Specialists messed up the antennas on my back glass when removing tint. When I confronted the owner about it, he got hateful and hung up on me. In the spring of 2015, I used Audio Specialists to tint my windows on my BMW 535i that I had just purchased. When I went to pick it up, I noticed that there were lots of tiny air bubbles on my windows. I was assured by the employees that they would go away within a week or two. Well after two weeks, they had not gone away so I took my car back and they agreed that the tint looked awful and needed to be redone. So without charge, Audio Specialists tinted my windows again. However, I was in the same boat two weeks later as I still had lots of air bubbles all over my windows. So this time when I took my car back to them, they admitted that they did not have a very reliable employee tinting windows so they were just going to strip the tint off my car and refund my money so that I could go somewhere else that actually knew what they were doing. I was completely fine with that because by this time I was losing faith in what Audio Specialists could actually do. I picked up my car later on that day and when I went to get in it, I noticed that the car didn't automatically unlock when I put my hand on the door handle nor did I start with the keys in my pocket (the car has the comfort access feature). I had to actually insert the key fob into the ignition. I knew something wasn't right but before I started accusing Audio Specialists of anything, I bought a new battery for the key fob and even tried using my spare one. None of this worked so I then took my car to my trusted mechanic and within a few minutes he was able to detect where the antenna lines on the back glass had been scrapped which was the result of Audio Specialists removing the tint. I then drove back to Audio Specialists to inform them of the damages that they had caused and they of course tried to deny it along with also denying that they had used a razor blade to remove some of the tint even though I found a razor blade that they had used in my trunk! The best part of this though is when one of the employees openly admitted to the comfort access feature working just fine when they had drove the car back around their building into the garage to work on yet it failed to work when they got done with removing the tint. I quickly realized that the only way I was going to get this resolved was by talking to the owner (Rob Bess). Rob called me later that day and was more concerned about me coming into his store accusing his employees of wrongdoing than he was about asking what the issue was with my car. In fact not once did he ask what had happened or how they could make this right with me or even a simple apology for all the times his employees failed to put tint on my car correctly. I had never dealt with anyone so unprofessional in my life and I deal with a lot of people as my job involves customer service on a daily basis. Who would want to do business with someone that is not willing to make it right when something goes wrong?! It has almost been a year since this incident and I still feel just as fired up about it as I did when it first happened just because I am 110% sure that Audio Specialists should have paid to have my back glass replaced which by the way cost around $1,200 with parts and labor. At the end of the day, I ended up being the bigger man and just paying it since Rob only response to me on the phone was, "You will need to speak to my lawyer." That is what I would call the coward's way of resolving a customer's complaint. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that appreciates their customers rather than a place that is going to run away when a problem arises.
