Originally on March 27, 2018 I went to Audiology Concepts in Burnsville, MN to get fitted for new earmolds. I was told it would be a couple weeks before they would be in. No communication since then. Fast forward to May 2 I sent an email asking when they would be in as I had heard nothing about them being in and Stacey *** replied that she would need to use a different company to make them and would send it that day to them. On May 15, I was informed by the secretary that my earmolds were in and set up the appointment for May 22nd. I went in and saw Stacey *** on May 22nd and got the new earmolds in. I noticed right away that there was more of a suction feeling in my ear but agreed we would give it a try and touch back. I emailed Stacey on May 28th expressing that they were causing issues, distorted and muffled sounds. She replied back on May 29th that she did not order a pressure vent in them add it to the remake. I did not hear back as of June 27th so I sent an email asking for an update and today is July 12 and I have not heard anything back. I even sent a contact request on the Audiology Concept website twice and still no response. I paid for the earmolds and I want my money back so I can get them done somewhere else and be able to hear well again.
I wanted to follow up with you regarding this complaint. Dr. *** has retired and no longer with Audiology Concepts. I did discuss this matter with Dr. *** and also looked at documentation. Dr. *** reports she did try emailing Ms. at the initial time new impressions were needed to remake the ear molds. We are currently looking into whether there is a glitch in her email. Dr. *** reports on one other occasion she sent something to someone and it did not go through but she did not no until that person requested a second reply. Unfortunately we did not receive the requests from Ms. and we check that daily. We have discussed the matter with Ms. and have offered to refund her money. She will return the ear molds on Monday July 30th and we will have a check for her. We do strive for excellence in customer service and we are truly sorry for her inconvenience.
