Audit Foreclosure

*** contacted us to do a forensic audit for her home that was in foreclosure She wanted to move forward She was in a big hurry as her she was about to loose her home and needed help She gave us the electronic check information needed for the $retainer but said that we need
to wait to run it until the next day She then had second thoughts and asked us to hold on Two days latter she was ready to go and sent us over the loan documents and wanted us to get started right away We processed her retainer and did the audit as asked Her audit came back in her favor against the mortgage company We were to collect the balance and supply her the audit and demand letter that would have, for all intent and purpose, saved her home from foreclosure Things could not have been going any better for her case Out of no where she emails me that we had no right to run the electronic check that she asked us to do and wanted a refund I must say I was stunned I told her that I would look into it The very next morning I decided that it was best to go ahead and refund her money I was in the process of refunding the money when I got the email from the Revdex.com that she had filed a complaint I was going to refund the money in less than hours after receiving the request for refund I'm not sure how much faster we can move I then found out her check for the retainer bounced costing us another $on top of the cost for the audit that I'm sure she will never pay for I'm convinced that she was trying to get us to refund the money already knowing that she had bounced the check This issue is now considered resolved at least on her part as she has all her money Were out around $dollars but we are happy to be done with her
