Good Afternoon, It is with great respect that I am responding to Ms. Hazel. It has been unfortunate that we have yet to agree on this issue. I find it difficult that Ms. [redacted] disagrees that we have responded with urgency and care to all of her concerns. We have kept all records of our immediate responses to her concerns to back this up. Audubon Square has no record of infestation problems in which we can proudly provide documentation for, so for that to be brought up is not factual by any means. The comment that "the bare minimum was done" is offensive when we have clearance letters from our certified pest control company, and the city of Austin code compliance along with follow up reports by maintenance and management. You made mention that Code compliance even documented pest activity, which is also incorrect. They referred to aesthetic repairs of the wood under your sink, and asked us to seal any [redacted] holes along the walls, and replace some of the caulking which we did in the allotted time given. There was not one mention of pest activity as this can be seen in Ms. [redacted] 2nd response. Ms. [redacted] made mention of wanting to transfer. This is the first time I have heard of this, and I even called the prior staff [redacted] and Mrs. [redacted] who are still with the company. Ms. [redacted] made mention that they were let go, but for the record they just transferred to another property within the company. We would have definitely considered this transfer for her given that she would have qualified just to make Ms. [redacted] happy. The only reason I even brought up the personal issue of Ms. [redacted] losing her job is because we feel this is a pertinent piece of information given that she couldn't pay rent going forward and had to break her lease. We didn't start receiving complaints until after this statement was made. It was in no disregard to her personal situation and not meant with any disrespect. If [redacted] did have mention of previous residents that was only a personal opinion. There is no record of previous pest issues with that unit or building or fact of that remark to back it up. Again, I feel we did everything in our power to make sure Ms. [redacted] was responded to with respect, urgency and diligence as this is what we take pride in. I hope with all the hard facts of our attempts to rationalize the situation we can settle upon the fact that Audubon has in no way ignored or taken any requests lightly.
