Review: on may 15 2015 my tenant [redacted] was complaining about the oven not working. I told him I would replace the stove because the stove was old. I was shopping different stores like [redacted] and [redacted] to compare prices on a new stove. The prices were to high and could not afford. So I looked on [redacted] and found some stoves. I responded to a [redacted] ad for a totally rebuilt [redacted] stove for $200 the [redacted] post id is [redacted] we exchange an email conversation at 853pm That's when I asked about the stove I responded back at 944pm asking store hours. [redacted] responded back at 605 am stating 10-5 sat 12-5 sun and mon-fri 9-6. I was there 1st Thing when the store opened and picked out a stove. I was helped out by another employee not [redacted] and picked out a stove It was a [redacted] gas range the price of the stove was 200 plus 70 for delivery The normal delivery price was 50 dollars but was charged an extra 20 because the stove was going to go to Philadelphia. I spoke to my tenant [redacted] to schedule delivery. they were suppose to call [redacted] to set delivery up saying they only deliver after 4 pm but can try to deliver before 4pm [redacted] said he was available before 4 on mon and tues and allday Thursday. I get a text from [redacted] sating the stove was not delivered at 1020pm on Thursday 5/22/15 where is my stove? [redacted] cell phone number is [redacted]. The stove was suppose to be delivered removed the old and install the new at [redacted] 19146Desired Settlement: I want my stove delivered and installed to my tennants or the $270 cash I paid returned to me.

Review: I purchased a used dryer with a "12 month warranty" from this place. I brought the unit home and installed it and within 2 days of use, the dryer started banging severely while being used. After 4 or 5 phone calls trying to get someone out to look at it, I finally got someone out. (this was more than 2 weeks later mind you). They managed to put a bandaid on the issue claiming that there must have been a build up of lint in the motor. (Um, I thought this dryer was just refurbished?)

About a month or 2 later, the banging started again. So I called again, and they told me someone would be out within a couple of days. I never got a follow up, and no one every showed up to attempt a repair on the dryer. So 2 weeks later I called again. The owner said that he was having some issues with his repairman, and that someone would be out in the next couple of days. Again, no call back, no one shows up to repair. So I call again, and when I questioned Steve if someone was actually going to follow up this time and fix the problem, he proceeded to give me an attitude about my request that he stand up behind the warranty he put forth. He said he called to try and get in a few times. Which is an outright lie. I work from home, as does my wife. I also pulled my phone records while I was on the phone with him.... there was never a call. After all the grief, he said that he again would have someone out within the next few days.

It's been more than a month and a half now. We have yet to a single call for repair. He won't honor the warranty or stand behind the product he sold.Desired Settlement: $250 and have someone come get it out of my house.

Review: Purchased used washer machine on 5-25-13.It has a 1`2 month full guarentee. On 7-5-13 the machine stopped working.I've made numerous calls to have them come out to fix the issue.One time he said he's right down the street and he'll be there in a few minutes,another time he said he'll be there next day.Both times he never showed up.Most times no one answers the phone at allDesired Settlement: I would like a refund so as to not deal with this business ever again.

Review: I purchased a gas dryer on March 27, 2015, it was delivered March 31, 2015. My purchase has a one-year warranty. The dryer worked for a few days but then stopped getting hot and the timer doesn't work. It doesn't shut off. I called the store's service number to get it fixed. If I get an answer I'm put off, no appointment is given. I'm told maybe tomorrow. I've texted him, I've mailed a letter. I posted a message on the business [redacted] page. I went to the store on 6/12/15 and found the owner sleeping on the washers. When he woke up he screamed at me to get out. He was ranting so much I don't want him in my home. I have my original receipt and proof of the calls and texts made.Desired Settlement: 1-I would prefer a refund and he can have the dryer back but I don't want him to pick it up, he can have [redacted] the man that delivered it do it. 2-if I can't get the dryer returned and refunded, I will have the dryer repaired by another company and he will pay the cost to do so. The one-year warranty should be honored.

Review: I purchased a refrigerator over the phone on Saturday April 18th, 2015 after seeing the pictures online at the merchant store it's cost $321.00 that includes tax, delivery ,install and removal of old refrigerator. I paid with my credit card the gentleman over the phone said he could deliver it on Sunday after 9am. They never showed up on Sunday or didn't call , I called several times with no response. Then I waited until Monday April 20th, 2015 I called no answer, I left messages on the [redacted] Business page ,I sent text messages to the number the gentleman called me on,again no response. I had to call from a different phone number then someone answered the phone call . He was very rude to me I asked him for a refund he said No " [redacted] won't even give you a refund " I responded with [redacted] would would have delivered my refrigerator and I would never be going through this. This is bad business on your company part .just please refund my $ so I can find another one for my elderly god mother. .. they refuse to. It is now Tuesday no one has contacted me about anything I have contacted my bank and have asked them to deputes these charges as well as filing this complaint with the Revdex.com. This is the worst customer service if the company could not provide a promised service they should now be taking money from customers.Desired Settlement: I want them to refund my money so I can go purchase a refrigerator for my elderly god mother. They have my money and the refrigerator.

Review: I purchased a refrigerator for my mother last Nov. 2012 and it had a one-year warranty. Since February 2013 my mother has been calling to have service on the refrigerator (it leaks water from the bottom, and a lot) and she has been unable to get service from Audubon Used Appliances. On June 26th the owner [redacted] called my mother and ended up calling her a "[redacted]" and I followed up by calling him and was immediately yelled at and he was unresponsive to our request to have service. At this point, I will take him to small claims court if there is no resolution to service (under the warranty for one year) and have the matter resolved.Desired Settlement: At this point - refund my money and take back the refrigerator.

Review: I purchased a gas dryer from this company in April 2013, for 234.33. With a 12 month Warranty. In June the dryer stopped working. it would shut off after approximately 10 minutes. I called Audubon used appliances to have it serviced and was asked to check this and check that/ and was given the run around. after many text messages with no results, I called multiple times. I was reffered to another company which was to honor the warranty and was advised not to call that number again, that they were not contracted to repair Audubons' warranties. when I finally got a live person on the phone , sometime in July, I was cursed at and called an it, I have bought appliances from this company before and never had an issue. so in august I sent one last text message to give the owner one last opportunity to resolve the issue. with no answer. I have never been talked to or treated as disrespectfully by any person before. I am currently trying to file a claim in a civil suite/ or if there is a a class action law suit against this company in progress. I was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis or RRMS and my husband is currently out of work. I feel I was taken advantage of and cannot afford to buy yet another dryer. And the simple fact that they did not honor the warranty that was accompanied with the purchase of my dryer.Desired Settlement: I want my 234.33 dollars back and this business to close for good, so no more innocent people get swindled out of their hard earned money.

Review: I had purchased a washing machine from Audubon Used Appliances in July the day that the washer was brought home it was not working correctlyThe owner came to the house to the house at night to make a repair and after its still not working gave us another washer the next daythe second washeris not working and we have made several attempts to have a repairman come out to service itWe have been promised a return phone calls which we have not received overFor days we have made several attempts to call and schedule an appointment for them to come outWe have been told that we are not a priorityI feel the appliances that the business is selling are lemons and they are not honoring their warranty or service agreement to satisfaction
