When the customer brought the vehicle in there were several problems with the vehicle: brake pedal to floor, power steering leak, squealing noise, blower motor not working and track light onHe was provided a break down of cost for each item
Some items he chose to repair and some he did notHe was charged a diagnostic fee and authorized the repairs that he wanted us to completeOne of the things he wanted us to complete was to tighten the power steering lines that someone else had installed previously and there was a $charge for thatWhile diagnosing the squeaking noise it was noticed that someone else previously had the power steering pump off and installed the wrong bolt and cracked the pumpTo repair properly it needed belts which were saturated, a tensioner which was weak and a new pumpCustomer requested Auffenberg to put in the correct bolt and install thread sealer onlyI spoke to the consumer and offered for him to bring the vehicle back and to let me personally take a look at itHe said that he would get back to me because he did not know when he could bring it back in and then we received the Revdex.com complaintI am still willing to look at the vehicle if the consumer is willing to bring it back
