With assistance from Mazda Corpand Auffenberg Mazda we installed a USED engine in ***'s car, she picked the car up on Feb
10, The vehicle has returned with a Check engine light illuminated, we did inspect the problem and found the Oil control valve to be an issue, repair was not made because it was not covered by the extended warranty*** chose not to pay for any repairsThis vehicle has miles on it and is well beyod factory warranty*** has an extended warranty through Mazda ( not purchased from Auffenberg) which may still be in effect, however, she has not be back to show us an oil leakWe will be happy to honor her extended warrantyIf the repair is not covered she would be liable for the cost

The exhaust system on the vehicle at time of purchase would not pass state of Missouri required safety & emissions testing. The dealership replaced the exhaust system with a factory system with Catalytic converters. This was done at no charge to the customer. Once the repairs were completed,...

Auffenberg took the car and had all safety and emissions tests done for the customer and delivered the vehicle back to them. To whom it may concern, this complaint has been resolved by the dealership to my satisfaction.

Clearly stated on the Vehicle Service Contract that Mr. [redacted] signed is, “Purchase of this Contract is not required in order to purchase or lease a vehicle or obtain vehicle financing.” We deny ever having told him otherwise. However, the Service Contract that Mr. [redacted] purchased does...

indeed include coverage above and beyond the scope of the manufacturer’s warranty; it extends beyond it by 24 months and 24,000 miles. It also includes roadside assistance, rental car coverage, and trip interruption coverage for the entire term. Mr. [redacted] also signed an agreement stating that he would “return the vehicle within 24 hours of any verbal or written notice that the deal cannot be completed.” Per these terms, we will be seeking return of our vehicle and Mr. [redacted] should be expecting our written notification shortly. [redacted]General Manager
