Gentlemen:We are responding to a complaing filed by *** *** of Belen, concerning repair action done in July of 2015.We are very sorry for the problem Ms *** experienced Here is our side of the story.The vehicle Ms *** has was worked on by others before us We believe
that some lug nuts were stripped or damaged prior to our working on the van We accepted responsibility, and repaired Ms ***'s vehicle, even though we do not believe we were totally at fault The lugnut damage was what caused the wheel to come loose.Our people came to her rescue when she lost the wheel I dont know how she feels we did nothing, as we did get her van repaired after the lost wheel. We did charge Ms *** for the repairs that we performed the first time we worked on the van. The repairs related to the lost wheel were repaired at our expense, and all damaged parts were replaced. To this date, we were understanding that the repairs were satisfactory Nothing was said to us about wanting a refund for the repairs we performed She has not mentionedin the complaint that she was still having problems, or that someone else had performed any repairs to the van Plus, it has n;ow been over days since the original repairwas done If someone else had to repair the vehicle, or if she still has another problem, we would be happy to address the situation.We do not feel that we should have to refund her repair expense if the vehicle has not had to have more repairs, and it has been over days from the originalrepair Alot can happen in that length of time, and we would be happy to examine the vehicle, and address any problems that she has concerningour repairs She may contact me directly if she would like, and I originally talked with Ms *** We are willing to address the problem if she wants us to, butwe are entitled to be compensated for repairs performed We believe that they have been performed satisfactorily Thank you for your assistanceRobert A*** ***
