Review: My husband bought a car from this auto center in May of 2014 a four Taurusfor 2000.00. He bought the car on a [redacted] of the [redacted] weekend. We drove to [redacted] and on the way home [redacted] we had to be towed home. He called the dealership and spoke to a man by the name of [redacted]. My husband told him what was going on and he said he had to get back to us. Which never happened. My husband and I called a few more times and straight to voice mail. We took the car to the local transmission shop and it need work done to the train. We had the work done and took the bill of $500.00 and called Augies Tallman auto center again left a message and to no avail no one ever called back. We called [redacted] & his partner on there cells phones only to go straight to voice mail & left numerous messages with no return phone call. Since we have had to put in a hot water pump as well. We understand that this is a second hand car & work will need to be done but NOT buying it on a [redacted] & then on [redacted] its in the shop. We are looking for compensation even just some acknowledgment help to have them fix the car. We were going to go to small claims court but at that time my husband suffered a [redacted] so we were unable. To this day I have tried to call them just to make good on the faults at the time of the initial purchase. How does a business put a [redacted] inspection sticker on a car?? How did it pass?Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund the money that we put out 3 days after purchase to fix the car. I have the receipt from [redacted].
